The Benelli Ethos is a without a doubt my favorite shotgun (which I own). I have shot their entire line of guns and the Ethos is a game changer. The progressive comfort system really work, far better than the comfortech (& comfortech Plus) on their other guns (SBE2, Cordoba, Vinci, Super Vinci, Etc.).The Ethos is a fantastic upland and sporting clay gun, plus the nickel finish looks fantastic! That said, I will never use this gun for waterfowl hunting, I personally prefer the SBE 2 for that. Waterfowl hunting beats the heck out of guns and I just dont want to trash this gun (although I grew up waterfowling with a similar Benelli Raffaello and never had a problem). Rob Roberts & Briley make some fantastic parts for the SBE 2, such as slammer button, extended bolt handle & trigger jobs. I've dropped my SBE 2 in water and it still shoots reliably. Show me a gas gun that can do that in real life. You can't. Inertia may have slightly more recoil than gas, but 10x the reliability. Don't knock this gun before you try it. It is brilliant. Happy Shooting.
I would like to agree with below price is an issue but that's also the cadi of bird guns I also have an m4 and to be honest it was worth the money that thing will eat some mean rounds and keep comin back I also appreciate the low maintenance. That's the worst part of shooting is cleaning.
I own Baretta’s, Benelli’s, and Browning’s. I’ve got my favorites for ea type of hunt, but I’m considering adding a nice wood gun; Either an Ethos Sport or A5 Ultimate. Does anyone have any experience with these two and how do they compare? I’m torn between the classic A5 look, which I love with my older Belgium models, but I know Benelli has been the king of inertia recoil. Pros and cons please, or I’ll need to flip a coin. Lol
I own a Beretta A400 Extreme (which has a Kick-Off recoil reduction system imbedded in it which uses two hydraulic dampeners very similar to those in automobile suspensions) which I love. I bought a Benelli SuperVinci a few years ago for my son (with the ComforTech recoil reduction system) and what a great shotgun ! We shoot 2 3/4 heavy loads mostly and there is barely any discernible recoil - I mean nothing! It was shocking to me at first , to feel so little recoil! It was like shooting a .22 almost - reminded me of the little double barrel .410 I grew up shooting as a young boy. In a 12 gauge! My son and I shot a lot of rounds through both guns, and we both agree - we both liked the Benelli SuperVinci better. Just seemed a bit lighter, a bit faster, a bit easier to point, a bit smoother, and a bit less recoil. Mind you I still love my A400, but if I had to choose only one, I’d probably choose the Benelli. I’ve never shot an Ethos nor experienced the newer progressive comfort recoil system but if our experience with the SuperVinci is any indication and the Ethos represents the next generation/evolution of Benelli’s design, I’m betting it’s an even more amazing shotgun!
I'm not biases, I run with a SBE 2 while chasing waterfowl and an M2 in 12 gauge for everything else. I love these tools, they do everything I expect. With that being said, it seems like other endevors by many, Benelli has hit a preverbial wall. I hope they get past this at some point. The Ethos,........ Whatever!! (smh)
;Not bitchen Sean , seems a $2000or more should have a backing for customer service by the Company , Not that I could find Benelli USA doesn't give a crap , You bought it , You own it !!LOL
Check out the gun forums on the web. Major FTF problem. Consider spending your money on a different shotgun. If you want to buy one I will be getting rid of mine!
I've run about 500 through mine so far using Federal 1 1/8 target loads. No FTE or any issues so far. I feel like I could shoot it for days, the only time I felt the slightest kick was when I didn't get my cheek down tight enough. I'm very impressed with the lack of recoil, especially considering how light the gun is.
When you describe what you're selling as "product" it shows you have zero passion or pride in the item. Still a great shotgun, but that suit and tie should be demoted to something far less important.
Doesn't fit My hand in any way and Benelli doesn't seem to want to do anything about it ! Too much of a 90 degree pistol grip . Sad to spend that much money for a gun One can't shoot ! Even sader when a Company doesn't give a crap

I have 2 benelli autos, but I replace the recoil spring, heavier one. Now the action is very fast, & never fails to function. Ever!
cant wait to see an on assignment video
In all my life I wish I owned a gun like this beautiful and wonderful .

Great gun. I have 3 Benellis including Legacy, Ultralight, and Ethos. The Ultralight and Ethos are my favorite. Great feel and great shooting guns.
Love just love for Benneli arms❤️
Picked up Engraved 26" for 1799.00 from North Arkansas Guns Inc.

I love my Super Nova Field.
this damn video sold me lol
if you notice at 10:38 he loads a used shell. I find this very interesting! Benelli has finally figured out how to recycle shots immediately!
It’s not a used shell
great gun!

Exactly how I feel about the recoil (or lack of) in my M2.

Shoot it before, the recoil is not reduced on the second shoot, I’ve gun and reliable,
Aren't there more than 5 continents?
Man that's nice. .
does it cycle any 12 ga round like the super vinci
Above than all.
Does anyone recommend this gun for clays aswell?
I have one 7k rounds thought it that's all I use it for besides pheasant hunting in October
Do they make threaded barrels to attach a suppressor too?

Great guns for hunting but for clays, o/u and gas semi autos are better choices.
I want one, but they are so expensive.
MrRedskins0021 how much are those actually?
andrew gilbert 1,500 to 2,500
No, they're 1800-2000 depending on the version you get.
verly good
6:50 shoot the drones!
Shoots great, unfortunately the forearm cracks all too easily. Very disappointed.

Ήθος .....Greek word ...
Enough with the hype unless you have a reasonable price point, what's the point? (3000 is not reasonable)
2100 sugg retail on the engraved nickel, just picked one up for 1900
Its well worth the price... Best shotgun Ive ever owned

Was there a recommended break in load/round count?
Beretta rules...

Go cry somewhere else.
Benelli makes fantastic shooting guns, but they are ugly, ugly, ugly.
