In this video I take the nation of Two Sicilies and form Italy, but that's not all. My goal is to reunite the boarders Italy had before world war 2 started.
This was the most painful italian unification i've ever seen

If you didn't already know this, the reason your generals are only using a small number of troops is because you have too many generals in your army. The total number of regiments gets divided among them. Preferably you should only have one general commanding each army.
You know, that actually makes a lot of sense in hindsight. I didn't know that before. That's going to make the future much easier.
This bug happens as the capital was taken during ur war and the wargoal was still in vienna. I would swap to them and give in and go back as this bug is just gonna stay there until they go to default

@@Metalusko he had 33%, he didnt have the wargoal for the payment, and the capitol (which seems to be treated as its own wargoal in this case aswell).
If he doesnt ask for the payments it would go up to 50% which MIGHT have tricked the formula.

Capitulation desire should probably be influenced by wargoals separately, holding the capital blocking the wargoal of reparations should be the same as "nothing bad happened to me"

At this point you should have gone into de-bug mode and just given yourself the states. Or swap states to capitulate.
if I was just playing single player I would have, but on the bright side it makes for a more interesting video.
Next time when you can't reach the front just save and reload it a bug thats been there forever and they still haven't fixed it.
I think conscripts bug out war exhaustion. I think they're not counting towards army cap but towards casualties and inflate the later number, so if you don't win quickly and decisively you will lose if you use conscripts even if you demobilize the armies using them.
Fun fact; both parts of the Austro-hungarian forces were the worst part of them. To be fair, the same could be said for Italy considering there were TWELVE battles at Isonzo and no one really won anything there and over a million soldiers died.

There was this one time where Austria intervened me as US. But because both of us can't touch each other I just let the war going and Austria soon went bankrupt due to its massive army and capitulated

Dose someone know how to solve the "cant reach front when they clearly could" bug? Its amazing how much Paradox is willing to just spit out DLCs of what should have been in the base game from the start instead of fixing literally bugs which have been here from day 1
You just exit to main menu and load the save file again. Not a big deal. Happens to me all the time.

i remember my first time forming italy like 2 months ago, you know how WW1 italy had sardinia-piemont and didnt have venice and the others austrian states? yeah, sardinia piemont became a russian puppet randomly and i formed italy by death waring austria for their italian states lmao, looked so cursed on the map with this green blob squished between me and france haha, amazing vid btw!

The bug happened because it is mandatory to have the capital to get war reparations. If you hadn't done the reps the war would have ended when you dominated Croatia

so apparently if you call someone to a play it doesn't use the maneuvers until they accept. So because I already used them all on war goals, when Austria accepted the call it went negative.
