    I love Bentinho Massaro He teaches with so much love and authenticity. His work on challenging limiting beliefs is awesome also. he is an amazing example of the new generations coming into the world today, they are coming to change the previous paradigms.

    Dayam! listening to teachers above my own knowing and inner trusting has been the greatest challenge.! What a relief to hear you say this! It took me longer. So clear and simple. My own simple being. No capitals needed.

    At one point Renate characterizes the "new teaching" (Direct Path Advaita) as "Just forget everything, just relax," and Bentinho seems to agree. But there is a big difference between relaxing into full Spacious Awareness and relaxing into ordinary dullness or egoic thinking. Taking the injunction to "relax" out of context is deadly, because living our "ordinary" life and taking hot baths to relax is not a way to end suffering. The whole message must be communicated, for it to be effective.

    Bentinho seems to have a solid back ground or education in communication. That's what really makes his message effective in this interview. Words can only point but the right words at the right time can change one's thinking permanently and that's what is fascinating about human communication.

    Om Gosh, thank you for this.. I know I'm late to this interview, but I was beginning to lean towards this concept just in the last few days and now boom: this guy who I'd been avoiding for no real reason(other than I wasn't ready to understand it yet?) lays it all out exactly, today, the day I decide to give him a chance, a day after having felt these things. Talk about confirmation. Thank you so much for doing this interview.

    To me, Bentinho's biggest strength is his ability to share "that which is already the case" in such a simple and direct way, that ANYONE can understand what he is pointing at. Furthermore, his love & caring for his fellow human beings as well as his unwavering confidence in Awareness sort of transfers to the listener. And when you throw in that infectious smile of his, honestly, what chance does a poor illusory ego have!? :) Much love, Michael Jeffreys

    The video has a some-what shaky start, but Bentinho comes alive around 12:30
    'We are so focussued on forms. More fundamental to all these forms, is the very fact that we perceive. The very fact that we know we exist'
    Exactly!

    Thank you

    Bentinho has such a naturalness about him. He is so open to life as it is without any grasping for a reference point outside of his own aliveness. He is a breath of fresh air!! He helped me realize how caught up in my own story I have been, all the while missing the natural joy of life in the moment. Like Bentinho describes in this interview, I too have lost that natural childlike joy in just being. I am now reclaiming it day by day, experience by experience. It is a wonderful process.

    Amazing interview. I love young Bentinho and his pure and child like transmission of the Boundless Awareness. Although I felt in moments Renate and her feminine heart was confused with the Ben`s perspective on the Truth. Still amazing realizations I have opened to, when watching it. Great love

    He's gone off the rails now. He is building up a cult. He's either dangerously delusional or manipulative and after recognition, power and money. His early talks were good... he's a case of good guru gone bad. Watch this space. I hope he returns to a better place.

    • @phoggee
      @phoggee 7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      yes he has, very disappointing, I thought he was sincere. Watch his later videos and facebook, he is now aiming to be more like tony robbins, teaching abundance, etc. He is turning out to be a complete fraud.

    • @mikezooper
      @mikezooper 7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I just hope people realise in time. Sadly there are always vulnerable people who will follow these charlatans. He's a businessman and cult leader.

    • @skatingandsuch
      @skatingandsuch 7 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      he is you, and he is a reflection of you, so who has really gone off the rails? Does teaching abundance and being forward thinking make him "dangerously delusional"? I think not. You've probably never spoken to him or been to a retreat, so why do you feel the need to spread falsities about him? I've met him many times and he is one of the most loving, genuine, service-to-others oriented human I have ever met. Check yourself before you wreck yourself, cuz false judgements in your mind are bad for your health.

      Whatever your mind thinks and appears to need to judge about something or someone, Do not Fall into the trap believing in that. Then you will have lost yourself in the Maya of life. You will have gone uncouscious😉
      But please don't get me wrong. I am not saying that there is anything wrong with hanging onto ones believes or judging others. By all means if you feel you have or you want to, please feel free to do so. All I am saying is that if you do so you probably won't be able to remain in the Realisation of your true nature. But even if you don't it is still completly ok. You will still be a perfect and beatifull expression of devinity but only not knowingly so😄
      Love you all😘

    I get what he's talking about. But usually if I have a problem, I do the worst case scenario (so there is a story to get me there), enter the emotion layer by layer till you feel one with the pain totally. Then the pain is released and there is bliss and it never comes back. He sounds like he has an easier way, but I don't know how to do it his way. Wish I found him sooner.

  • @dabrupro
    @dabrupro ปีที่แล้ว

    @13:16 -- "So whenever I believe I have a problem, what's really going on is a kind of like a disrespect to my existential nature...to the miracle of being in life. If I worry about something I already acquire the arrogance to believe that I know better what I should experience than life itself and I totally disregard...I totally miss the opportunity that's here to recognize the very fact that I exist -- that existence is."

    Good points, thanks. Rupert Spira and Mooji both have excellent videos on TH-cam that describe how to relax into awareness for those who see this as mysterious or difficult. Some searching by interested readers will greatly repay the effort. One may need to listen to a few different Advaita teachers before one finds harmony and resonance in the message.

    Does anyone here smell something fishy? Nonduality is a reality--but its a perch--a nondual perch. Like many nondual teachers, he refuses to embody--to get dirty, to get real and go beyond nonduality and become human. I don't see the heartache--why? Because that would mean embodiment. She tries to catch him, can you see that? But he wont let go of his formlessness, which is a pity.

    To me "Age" has nothing to do with awareness....I would say "choice" seems to have more implication. What I have loved about any assumed turmoil in the world is that awareness is broadening...more people are becoming in alignment with the mass immagration into fully self-realizing as not"before". I too have noted his "age" but at 72 find him only to mirror many of my practices and beliefs. But I too realize that playing in possibility a new is the delight of the experience what ever focus reality of which one is most aware. So aligning to what ever extent is jus a choice. The I AM percieved is all I need..other than you (with out which how would I identify?)

    You can't really relax into egoic thinking as egoic thinking is always stressful to some extent as it is mixed with fear. That type of shallow relaxation is indeed shallow, and it won't reveal life in its fullness. The relaxation as indicated in this interview requires alertness, not dullness - but it also takes the pressure of the egoic mind that it 'should be alert'.

    there is many ways to reach that experiential understanding of truth.and even though the ultimate insight is, that you are the guru. making such a statement like * we dont really need teachings* is dangerous. Just because once you have realized truth, it seems simple, it doesn't make it less complex. Otherwise everybody would get it, as soon as they are told! It is mostly not the case! Teachings and practice are necessary as long as we need them! beautiful smile. young? Time?

    I'm a bit perplexed at how Renate has interviewed all these people over the years, some like Rupert Spira with such clear direct pointers and she still doesn't even seem to grasp it on a intellectual level.
    I think she has a hard time with the fact that once this is seen there really isn't this great desire in the people to go out and fix the world, that the world doesn't need fixing. I hear a lot of .."Ya But" in her interviews...doesn't seem to like the idea that suffering is just what is.

    That's old school nondual. Old nondual is only half the way there. The new "neo-nondual" or full humanhood way sees no distinction between true nature and "body/mindhood" --"superficial body existence" is every bit as important as nondual awareness. Be careful of nondual teachings that have "nondual perches"--its just another perspective even if it is is nondual. It's not full humanhood which is the highest teaching.
