Learning good copywriting in combination with doing the market research to understand my audience has been SUCH a game changer for my business! It used to be SO hard for me to decide what to write in my captions, emails, etc but now that I know exactly who I’m writing for and how to use their own language when speaking to my audience, it is so much easier! Thanks for the great tips Vanessa 🙂
1- Know your audience inside and out. Interact with them and get to know their pain points, goals, what they want, etc. 2- First few lines of your caption must be engaging/polarizing. Get them curious. 3- Have killer content and copywriting. 4- 5-
I learned too late that at the core of every online business is copywriting. It's exactly as what Vanessa said: you need really good copywriting for your website, captions, CTAs, emails, etc. Spending some time to learn how to write better is going to give your conversion rates a boost for sure (of course your main content must be good).

I used to think that since IG is a visual platform the captions don't matter, especially since so many people (influencers) use proverbs and famous quotes constantly. However many years later, I realize that "clickbait" headlines are important.

What if your audience is mostly people you already know that aren't really following you for the content you post? I'm definitely going to use the strategy you suggest to figure out my ideal audience and their pain points and use tags to attract that audience.

But when you’re magnifying some of your content, you have a sound effect that sounds like nails on chalkboard! You inspired me to start my own online coaching business with your 80k video and were my first "teacher" for Insta captions. Even in your old posts, you always led by example (breaking up text into digestible chunks, adding emojis, using a "hook" at the beginning). After using your advice to set up the foundation of my biz, I just signed my first client last week!
