Really nice how Mai was able to overcome her shyness and confess her feelings towards Tomoya and eventually become an adorable lovey dovey couple with him. But man that latter half of the story was full of some amazing eye candy.
Lol these romcoms are getting bolder with their stories. While the mc dealt with an unfriendly girl I guess a combination of her not trying hard to get rid of him and her shy hair movement gave him hope while others would have given up. It was nice to see the mc tease the fmc with her essentric boldness.
thing is, if you already know that a girls shy/tsundere/etc its easier to get that, they arent so much being cold as awkward... for lack of a better term.... and i have seen near 1:1 this happen 3 times... buddy of ours ended up married to a girl 3 years shy of half his age... because she found out he was sick during a remote work project they were both on, as in a remote site, and she got the site foreman to let her into his trailer and he was not doing so hot genuinely thought he was hallucinating again... admits he said some shit about her looking like an angle and asking why the angle looked like the pretty girl who started working there a few weeks before...and this mans had this reaction to fevers since his teens at least... i can confirm he gos full delirium mode.. anyway, she already liked him and, hearing that he actually did find her pretty and liked her.. sort of ensured that he woke up to a pretty girl bed warmer that them made him food and drug his ass to the wood fired hot-tub she had the guys get going earlier, mostly because everybody needed to bath and the wood fired boiler they were using heated water for the shower and the hot tub... but yeah... everybody knew what was up quickly... hell 2 days later she was moved into his trailer...and he wasnt complaining... way better then his ex wife..(everybody including her mother told him not to marry right out of HS and not to marry that daughter...hoe-thot-award-winner..ugg..) they got "too damn many kids" by their own admission... but they can afford it, so why the fuck not give your wife what she wants? a huge fam...
Ha ha what a fantastic love story. Loved the way his GF showed she loved him. shyness can be a real issue. I bet it wasn't long until they sealed the deal. I bet they'd have a long and happy relationship.

It was a day in late October, close to Halloween, and she had grown frustrated on me not picking up on her admittedly poor attempts to drop hints to me that she liked me and just took action herself. She was still shy and quiet at school, but we were like wildfire during our quiet moments "alone together". We celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary in 3 months! If there's someone in your life that you love and want to be closer to, take a chance and tell them. Nothing will change if nothing is said! It's better to take your shot and miss than to live the rest of your life wondering if things could have been different between you.

It makes me wonder, is acting in any way other than being cold didn’t exist in these FMC? I mean when she act cold, doesn’t it risk the other person to hate or avoid her (which obviously she wouldn’t want to happen). The way this kind of FMC puts that she can’t be honest to herself is like she was denying her feelings towards him rather than try keeping it secret to herself.

And as for her saying that the fmc being called to the mc because she was shy about it is so cliche.

These stories are good but I would have just moved on, being an introvert and being rude are two different things. In my opinion, the girl was being rude and I wouldn't have tolerated that.
