I feel like Peach's reaction had less to do with rejecting Mario, and more to do with how childishly competitive and forceful of the situation he started acting when Bowser suddenly chimed in. Bowser's interference degraded Mario from acting like a gallant hero, into a needy lunatic. Totally ruining the mood, and angering Peach that he'd act like that.
To me, the whole thing just felt like a flimsy excuse to teeter on the brink of giving us what we all want out of a Mario story (that being Mario and Peach finally ending up together), but without letting it actually happen. Thus, having it be foiled by cartoonish antics that may get kids, and some adults, to laugh.

I wanna go back in time and experience this ending for the first time again, I have been sleeping on videogames since the gamecube until i became old enough to have a job and stuff so I bought a switch with this game and felt really excited about the ending.
I remember that for months I kept trying to beat that final moon challenge and after a billion tries I gave up for a while. After that I decided to come back and finally finish it. I aced it in one try taking 0 damage.

Man I love this game to death I really loved playing it and going around collecting all the moons it really felt like it was a dream a new mainline Mario game and the Nintendo devs really killed it was with this game the only thing I didn't like is I found Mario Odyssey kind of short and I was able to beat it in just a short amount of time other than that everything else was just great can wait to see how the next big Mario game is going to be like I am excited

really? I found it quite mediocre, in some aspects plain bad. Right up there with Sunshine. It had no real challenging platforming outside of cheap gimmicky levels like Darker side of the moon ( especially the 2d part that kept changing the input directions was idiotic, artificial difficulty = laziness), most moons were pointless, outside maybe 20 - 30 the whole game the others were just do this then repeat this in that level, now do that again and again and again on the next level. It got pretty old pretty fast. Felt like an Ubisoft quest to do check list on every map. The end game is ATROCIOUS, one of the worst i have ever seen on a Mario title. You break the moon rocks and there are moons just up there on a platform , waiting for you to pick them up. On the end game. End game is supposed to offer you challenge not artificially make the game longer. The hardest part was finding the Art moons which were as hard and convoluted as the developer wanted to present the hint , on a platformer that says a lot. Once you see past its initial charm (which in truth is great) all that remains is not that good. Sure I got everything and I had a good time at the start but when I realised how uninspired it is it just fullfilled it's whole design philosophy and purpose : A grand repetitive charming time waster.

Don’t even get me started on phase 3 of Death Egg Robot, i didn’t understand what to do the first few times, so i went through the battle about 7 times. Plus, I don’t care for the “Friendship can do anything” crap, i just want to play as an average, fast blue hedgehog! I don’t need to make an oc in this game! (I made my avatar as edgy as possible, bear, black eyes, skull shirt, ect). Please make another 3d sonic without original sonic, or ocs, please, just please make a normal sonic game. Sorry this rant was long, I’m just mad i spent $40 bucks on that while I could’ve bought food.

I feel like Peach's reaction had less to do with rejecting Mario, and more to do with how childishly competitive and forceful of the situation he started acting when Bowser suddenly chimed in. Bowser's interference degraded Mario from acting like a gallant hero, into a needy lunatic. Totally ruining the mood, and angering Peach that he'd act like that.
To me, the whole thing just felt like a flimsy excuse to teeter on the brink of giving us what we all want out of a Mario story (that being Mario and Peach finally ending up together), but without letting it actually happen. Thus, having it be foiled by cartoonish antics that may get kids, and some adults, to laugh.
Man they put so much detail in the final mission. Mario odyssey is a work of art, new favorite game hands down.

I wanna go back in time and experience this ending for the first time again, I have been sleeping on videogames since the gamecube until i became old enough to have a job and stuff so I bought a switch with this game and felt really excited about the ending.
I remember that for months I kept trying to beat that final moon challenge and after a billion tries I gave up for a while. After that I decided to come back and finally finish it. I aced it in one try taking 0 damage.
When I first got the invisibility hat I thought my game glitches out but then when it said “you got the invisibility hat” I was relieved

Man I love this game to death I really loved playing it and going around collecting all the moons it really felt like it was a dream a new mainline Mario game and the Nintendo devs really killed it was with this game the only thing I didn't like is I found Mario Odyssey kind of short and I was able to beat it in just a short amount of time other than that everything else was just great can wait to see how the next big Mario game is going to be like I am excited

Everytime i play mario oddsey, i feel like im about to cry because the ending is so good
really? I found it quite mediocre, in some aspects plain bad. Right up there with Sunshine. It had no real challenging platforming outside of cheap gimmicky levels like Darker side of the moon ( especially the 2d part that kept changing the input directions was idiotic, artificial difficulty = laziness), most moons were pointless, outside maybe 20 - 30 the whole game the others were just do this then repeat this in that level, now do that again and again and again on the next level. It got pretty old pretty fast. Felt like an Ubisoft quest to do check list on every map. The end game is ATROCIOUS, one of the worst i have ever seen on a Mario title. You break the moon rocks and there are moons just up there on a platform , waiting for you to pick them up. On the end game. End game is supposed to offer you challenge not artificially make the game longer. The hardest part was finding the Art moons which were as hard and convoluted as the developer wanted to present the hint , on a platformer that says a lot. Once you see past its initial charm (which in truth is great) all that remains is not that good. Sure I got everything and I had a good time at the start but when I realised how uninspired it is it just fullfilled it's whole design philosophy and purpose : A grand repetitive charming time waster.

I always thought it was so cool that when the player puts the hat on bowser it shows the early 2 bit versions of him. This game has so many memorizable nostalgic game memories in it including the 2 bit levels, the skins, etc.

The Mathew The only thing that made me not like forces that much isn’t the story, I honestly like the story. But the level design (especially in 2d levels) Isn’t fun TO ME. I beat the game in about 3 days, so i don’t HATE the game. I just finished my second playthrough of mario odyssey, while I despise booting up forces. I beat forces, but i would NOT do it again. Don’t even get me started on phase 3 of Death Egg Robot, i didn’t understand what to do the first few times, so i went through the battle about 7 times. Plus, I don’t care for the “Friendship can do anything” crap, i just want to play as an average, fast blue hedgehog! I don’t need to make an oc in this game! (I made my avatar as edgy as possible, bear, black eyes, skull shirt, ect). Please make another 3d sonic without original sonic, or ocs, please, just please make a normal sonic game. Sorry this rant was long, I’m just mad i spent $40 bucks on that while I could’ve bought food.
