    Magnesium is a metal that in time will evaporate on it own. And it is flammable it is what they make road flares out of. Now other metals rot away but not magnesium it goes to a gaseous state. So the metal part that craps the finish off the magnesium exposes the metal starting the evaporation. Now you can use clear finger nail polish to seal it back up and you should. And if you smoke keep it away from the mouse because that would be a really bad fire that your home fire extinguisher may not put out.

Did he forget that he has already used a mouse made out of this stuff? Or did the writers forget? Or both? I'm confused how this slipped through the cracks, considering this Razer mouse was made as a direct competitor to the Finalmouse 12 series.

    Review is lacking a lot of important information and testing:
    -Repairability: How is it to take apart and put back together?
    -Switches: What kind? If not optical, what brand/model? Are they hot swappable?
    -Scroll wheel: How's it feel? Optical or mechanical? What encoder?
    -Are the profiles stored in on-board memory on the device, or just stored in their windows crapware?
    The entire market has solved wireless responsiveness and reliability and have more than ample polling rates, yet it's all they scream about in their marketing still. Meanwhile, most mousewheel encoders become unusable after 2 years of daily use, and a lot of mouse switches develop issues over that time (especially logitech, who are rumoured to overvolt them to make them wear out faster. see "logitech doubleclick"). I really REALLY hope you guys start doing real testing when "the lab" is ready but honestly, a lot of this could have been tested or looked at during the shoot.

    the one thing i hate about my razer mouse (death adder essential) is the scroll wheel is too easy to move. dont know whats different between it and all the other (albeit older) mice ive used, but i play a lot of TTT and mouse 3 was my main callout bind for my 8 years of playing, until this mouse. if i were to use it id also swap weapons and lose my gunfight almost everytime.
    so not a deal breaker but something to put out there for the 4 people in the world that have things bound to m3 and scrolling might cause issues idk 🤣

    Awesome David, and excellent review. Also love the 'Don't Touch OBS Settings' on the back of the Capture Laptop - Want see more messages, or sponsors and probably memes on back of devices, just for the fun of it. So is 'SC' 'Shawn Caldera' or is it Sack Colton? 🤣

    Pro photo cameras do have magnesium alloy bodies and they beaten tough usually, so dont think it wears easly here

      @umeko204 ปีที่แล้ว

      i have two magnesium bodied cameras with huge amounts of wear, lot of magnesium showing through. one of which has been that way for more than 10 years. well exposed to outdoor elements. with no real noticeable corrosion. but are the natural elements harsher than sweaty, greasy gamer hands?

    Does the Viper Mini not have the side scroll wheel keybind? I know my Basilisk scroll wheel can be pushed to either side with their own respective keybinds. I'd assume the Viper Mini also has this feature, being a mouse that's much newer.

      I doubt that this one has it. That tends to be something that they cut to reduce weight. I’m using a naga x and they cut it from mine for the weight difference

    Glass skates are super hype, but unfortunately rather than a smooth and buttery experience it shows the flaws in your mouse pad, if it's oily whatsoever or hasn't been cleaned in a week it'll be a terrible experience, imagine flicking over a slightly worn/oily part of mouse pad and feeling your skates decelerating.

    yeah, if only their software didnt suck.
    My Brand new Razer keyboard has been having key issues since 3 months in. Keys falling off. Software slow and crashes. Razer is not what they used to be. Real shame. Their old stuff used to be decent.

    Not ambidextrous-able and then there's that premium price. Use of "greatest" should be tempered in reviews -- at least generally to limit hyperbolic BS.
