The trick for finding percentage greater than 100 is same, let me explain with example: if we want to find 3% of 120 then the steps are same as shown in video i.e: 3 x 12.0 = 36(place the point before the last digit & multiply it with the number you want to find percentage) then, again place the point before the last digit. i.e: 36 = 3.6 ( which is the 3% of 120). 2nd Example: 6% of 250: 6 x 25 = 150 150 = 15.0( placing point before the last digit) now 15 is the 6% of 250. if you want 7% of 7 then find square of 7 and put point at beggining. like square of 7 is 49 so when we put point before it becomes 0.49. thats the answer. method s similar from 1 to 9

4 x 3.5 =14 & then after point placing you will get 1.4 which is the correct answer... Your mistake is that you multiply it with 3( 4 x 3 = 12 you are missing .5 which causes error ) I hope that it will clear your confusion.
Here you need to use your mind for more simple your solution suppose you want to getting the 19% or 18 than simple first get the 10% and than get the remaining means if 19% than first 10% than 9% and than add both answer it will be your correct answer
First find the 10% and 5% of 256 and then add them you will get 15%. i.e: 25.6(10%) + 12.8(5%) = 38.4(15%)... These tricks are accurate and applicable to all the numbers...So change your mentality and be mature bro...
