Old comment. But there's only 2 of them. Also in making this, you don't have to worry about cartridge size and other data taking space from samples, and voices needing sound channels. I mean, IJS.
@@diegoaccord: Yes, I'm well aware of that. I still believe that Capcom could have put more effort into use of the Yamaha YM2612 (the Genesis's/Mega Drive's sound chip) on the two ports of _Street Fighter 2_ games they've made, though.
@@diegoaccord: I didn't say that I didn't like _Street Fighter 2: Special Champion Edition_ and _Super SF2: The New Challengers_ on the Genesis/Mega Drive in general. I was just disappointed in Capcom's handlings of the OSTs' compositions on the console.
@@Loader2K1 I'm referring only to the OST myself. Champion and the Turbo beta are good approximations of the CPS1 music. Especially the beta. Closer in instrumentation to the arcade than the SNES. If retail Champ has a fault it's that the music is too slow. I guess I'm wondering what more could you ask for with the music of Champ or the Turbo beta? Unless you wanted them to completely remix the music? Super SF2 on Genesis the ball was definitely dropped. They went from trying to emulate CPS1 sound which is similar to Genesis hardware to....whatever that was that they tried. SNES sample based chip did far more justice to the CPS2 style themes in Super SF2. Super SF2 on Genesis might be the worst official composition aside from Alpha 2 on SNES. As far using the Genesis hardware, the Champ music is about as good as it gets for 3rd party. Most Genesis games sound like chicken scratches, you needed Sonic Team, Yuzo, Mark Furniss, and a very limited group of people to make it sing. Even then, when you hear the original compositions (also done on Yamaha hardware) you can tell how much the Gen's version of that hardware was cut down. Nice little discussion though.
Really good make , the version in the alpha version on PS1 ,Saturn is in the key of A minor, whereas this is in C minor. Clear cut mid range synth sounds and fantasic mix of monophonic and polyphonic tones

+4th Ace I do plan to do more KOF at some point, but similar Darkstalkers that series just doesnt get much views for some reason. Even though the music is godlike. So I put them on the backburner
TheLegendofRenegade Oh. I got ya. Though it's pretty obvious they get less views because they're way less popular now unfortunately. With that, I now wish there was a MIDI for Guy's SFIV theme.
+TheLegendofRenegade I watched Darkstalkers. All of them. And I loved them. Thing is, I think the fact that Darkstalkers are kind of Dead for the moment might be why there's a lack of views on Darkstalkers anything. There's always gonna' be guys watching, though.
Ryu theme is always epic even if you play it with just a collection of pots
The answer lies...in the heart of battle.
+Vulcan422 So your the man of the iron fist...Show Me
Ryu's intro is so bland compared to Ken's.
"Itzu demo ii ze! *gestures "come forward" with index finger* Kakatte ki na!"
The answer lies...in the heart of green hill zone
I'm not here to pick fights. I'm here to win them
This is better than any composition of Ryu's stage theme that Capcom put out on a Genesis Street Fighter game. Great job!

Talented Japanese boxer. He always has good music too.
+Maximilian Dood, have seen this? The sound is astounding, it's an amazing interpretation.
What a fantastic rendition of Street Fighter Alpha 2.
I'm starting to have a case of nostalgia from 2007 when I was a Street Fighter fanatic.
I never noticed the sf2 match result jingle before. Nice!
+Chad Serrant what part are you talking about ?? I cant hear it
+TheLegendofRenegade Right before the song loops. Try around 0:51-0:55
It sounds close, mainly because of the drum part, but it's not it
This Is the Best Ryu Theme I have heard....Ever...It is amazing... Good Job on This One and your other Capcom Ones :D
Stage: Japan 🇯🇵
Act 1: Suzaku Castle Zone
You should Really do More Marvel vs. Capcom... Especially UMVC3
Nice remix :^) Can't wait for Adon's theme.
Adon's is already done.
+SHaBLaM BaLaM Oh man I didn't know that. Thanks for telling me.
