I’ve had this Amp for a while now. I have found I can play in Gigs easy with this. It handles everything very nicely and it sounds great. If you turned down your bass you would not get a farty sound. This is a great all-rounder for the money you pay for it. It’s not just for beginners it can be used for more advanced people too. It has everything you need, and it sounds great.
A common problem with low watt amps like this is clipping on the clean channel once you get past half volume. Even the JC40 suffers from this, and thats without high output pickups. Does this amp suffer from the same problem? Everything about this amp is perfect, I just hope you can play at high volume on a clean tone without clipping!
Elliot Knight hey mate. So there is the slightest amount of clipping but if you turn your treble up you will get a better sound than if you turn you bass up and then sound. So if you’re putting more volume turn treble up slightly and it’ll improve. But overall, the amp is amazing. You have everything you need on it. It has amazing distortion. It’s just a great all rounder, and it’s very loud even though the amp is not that big. Clean tone is this amps specialty
just bought one home, yeah this videos very hasty: of course with bass 3/4 the Twin 65 model will fart..., and the amp is straight outa box so the speaker will sound warmer in time...! I trust you Ammoguns@@ammogunslaughs5124 way more than video, and Im soo glad it has a headphones jack, Ive got a Fender Stage 100 home and I can play it like volume 1 even though its solid state, and now I again realize that I can even down the vol with my ZOOM G2 master vol! THATS the nice thingy with solid states: they sound good at low volumes!!!! oh and I do love my ZOOM G2: once again it has proved its value by simply having the master volume! I have like 10 overdrives possible before it, and just have reverbs and the Fender Twin 65 mod on with it, but now I realize it can also act as a power attenuator..., AND I also use Phones that have vol control!!! Cheers!!! Kimmo
I bought this because, I, as a hobbyist guitarist , just needed something for my living room that was simple and sounded good. I compared it with the katana and this amp has a better clean tone and also has a much simpler set up. I’m simple I don’t want 6000 effects and tone combos That I can control with my computer and phone. I just want clean and dirty with some effects and then the ability to plug in pedals if I want better sounds. This is a perfect simple bedroom amp. The katana is just too complicated with too many features. Just my opinion but you really can’t go too wrong with this amp
Nice review. This is an excellent amp especially at the price range. Simple and has excellent sound. Several other reviews had no problem with "fartiness", their bass eq was set lower of course. All of this is subjective. I normally mic my amps for larger venues, so not a problem when you can do this. Also maybe next time you could play some cleaner pieces on the effects. That's a place where this amp shines. Thanks!

Hi bro at what volume you play in the house?
best advice i can give is go watch a video on how to dial in tone using the EQ section. this amp is relatively solid for a 50w and a sound budget buy.
Less bass and less gain. No fart.
You have the bass cranked pretty high, that’s probably why it gets farty at higher volumes. You should probably lower it as the volume goes up.

I bought the champ hoping it would be a good option for live playing but it tends to get fatty at loud volumes. I ordered it online and returned it In store so as far as I’m aware no store clerk lost a commission on it.
60 Cycle Hum - coolio, your arrangement with your local store is a dream come true! Happy Trails
yeah, im excited to get started on it, the pre namm build up is kind of crazy so it probably wont be until after that.
It sounds like a cheap solid state amp.
...and not in the good way.
Amps for TORCH???
Maybe the mikes are to close...
It was farty because you boosted the bass. Everything sounds like ass because it's too bassy.
I have the same farting issue after fast food burritos
i don't like it at all but i like the mustang gt40 so idk
Hey, how about you break in the speaker next time, guy?
whats your preferred speaker breaking in method? I've heard that boiling it is the way to go, plugging in a vintage martin and letting it feedback for 2 weeks under specific humidity conditions is another popular option.
It’s like they tried to redo the super champ but flopped
Cool video though man, keep em up!
dont buy that thanks ryan man its tough to buy a decent guitar amp thesedays Fender Champion 100 : no service!!!
im thinking like m 80
I have this amp and it’s alright. I wouldn’t buy it again if it broke. I got this two weeks before the new boss nextone. 😪😒🥞
I’ve watched every review of this amp from this guy, and it’s like he’s trying to make this amp sound as terrible as he possibly can.
Well, it didn't take much, did it? There's no way I'd choose this over a Mark 2 Katana. The Gen 3 totally kills it!
Back off on the bass, it will relieve your gas
Apparently Fender hasn't heard of the Katana.
Sounds bad,sorry fender
