If one is using a multiparameter power-duration model, like the one that Stryd uses to provide an auto-CP estimate, then yes, adding a 20 minute test (to the 3'/12' CP test data) at some point will further optimize the model and produce a more valid auto-CP estimate. On the other hand, if using a modified Monod model (like the one that I provide in Final Surge, or the SuperPower Calculator), you will get a reasonably valid CP estimate from only the 3' and 12' CP test.

But the CP test protocol in Stryd is 3 minutes + 12 minutes. Does this mean another 20 minute (or even 40 minute) test is needed?
