Why u add lh( lower height) in pitch formula

Hi bin i have seen one.thing here at 14.52 when u change lower height and pitch ...truss height remain same why ...it has to be change with these perimeter...

I think that Truss Height is probably the parameter from the truss family template, which is not used in this family. You can ignore it.

Because the top cord needs to stop at the box gutter and does not extent to the end. You can probably avoid using reference line, but need to create another horizontal reference plane and work out the height.
