I have this deck and enjoy it. I seem to pull Inner Alchemy 90% of the time no matter how much I shuffle. It is gorgeous and I totally understand what you are saying about a lot of the cards. It is a very “pacific” deck.

I live on a rocky coast with cliffs, as well. If one day an ocean-themed deck comes out that features grey skies, where everyone is wearing a scarf, I’ll be all over it! 😂 Breezy Miami colors are beautiful, but definitely not my experience of the seaside.
Have her collab deck with Rebeca Campbell (Starseed Oracle) which worked with the theming, but I also wish the Ocean deck had more dark interpretations. Her style is beautiful, just not always my cup of tea.
All the decks that Danielle publishes herself are the highest quality out there. I have three of her decks plus the two oracles she did with Rebecca Campbell. That was super funny when you said at the beginning you're torn abut her art but end up getting them. I sometimes feel all the imagery feels sort of repetitive but this is her first water deck and I want it! That edging. I'm finding it interesting that Rebecca Campbell is now coming out with a water deck Healing Waters.
I am so glad you made this video. I am a Cancerian and really wanted this deck. I enjoy the images without the the realistic humans in them. Somehow that kind of artwork is jarring for me and prefer more of a drawn/sketch/painted style when it comes to my decks. This deck I will pass on and I’m happy to focus on decks that art fits my aesthetic.
Great video, love your eyeshadow! I totally resonate with what you said re: your relationship with the ocean because I feel much the same way, and that might be because I also live in New England ; I love my rocky New England coast ❤
I love this deck! I got this one as soon as it came out. Danielle Noel is such a nice person and amazing artist. I have several of her art pieces on my wall. I am a Pisces ♓️, so I totally dig it. ❤ My Scorpio moon craves the darker decks too, though. Love your channel and your energy. Your reviews are always truthful and honest, which I really respect and appreciate. 😊
I love her decks, but I have always loved her tarot decks more than oracles. I think the system of tarot kind of steers her in a certain direction, and with oracles there is a tendency to become a little bit too soft because it's so open for anything? Not saying that as something negative really, just my personal preference. It's a really beautiful deck and I am looking forward to working with her more in spring and summer!

I go into phases where I love her energy. I like her art work, but prefer the decks that are all her. Not as much of her decks with rebecca campbell. There is a place for Danielle’s decks for sure.
this might be too much to ask but can you do a video comparing her decks. (of course after you get to know this new one.) Almost how you did with lucy cavendish and alana fairchild. all of danielle’s decks seem to run together and carry the same theme and energy.
Dumb question from a total newbie, years ago somebody gave me The Mayan Oracle deck. I was going to give them away, but somehow I got interested in it, and made a few pulls. The dumb question is: do you read reversal in oracle decks? Because the user guide only has info on the card, period. Tia :)
That is not a dumb question and maybe I can answer it for you if you are still interested. I work with tarot and oracle decks for a very long time now and the deeper I connect with fhe practice the more I understand, that there are no rules in this. I typically don't read cards in reverse, not even tarot cards. I shuffle them in a way that I cannot even get a card reversed. If you want to read your oracle cards reveresed you can read it as the opposite message of what you find in the guidebook. Its not often intended by the creators to read the oracles in reverse, if there are no explanations to reversed cards. But if you want to do it anyways you can totally do that by understanding the reversed cards as an exact mirror of the usual message :)
While the artwork of the deck is beautiful, it feels sterile to me---almost like how an ocean would be depicted in a video game. If ethereal places like that did exist here on earth at some point, they are long gone because of the way we have polluted. I feel the sea nowadays as raw and dark. She is not clean, and she is angry.

I have had my deck since this summer but I haven't really connected to it yet. It is very Lemurian kind of deck vs earthy ocean.
