To much wind, noobs pulling the bar all the time (thats why the kite had so much power!) and an idiot filming thinking this was funny.... He could have broken a leg or just the whole crash could become one disaster. You guys were lucky this time ;)
True. I´ve seen myself many acidents on my home town every season. Never try kitesurf by yourself without a professional assistance. At least 1 person dead every year in here (Ceara/Brazil). I´m kitesurfing for the last 4 years and in the begining put myself in dangerous situations many times by doing stupid things or loosing control of kite in some way just because I don´t had a teacher.
***** So? if he breaks his neck then its his fault for doing something stupid lol, you remind me of the government... always trying to babysit the stupid people.... ^This only happens in America, when i go to Europe, Jamaica, Aruba. etc the people there don't give two shits what you do and they also don't complain all the damn time about wanting more warning labels and common sense tutorials...

Peeps should practice with a much smaller 'foil' stunt kite first! Then they'll understand just how powerful the wind can be. A 6ft (2 mtr) foil kite can easily drag you along the ground if you don't know what you're doing. The fastest kite, just the kite, not the flier, managed 120mph, through a speed trap on a beach somewhere more than 20 years ago. Guinness have accepted it as a world record, but their website has a glitch at the moment.

Et vu la forme des nuages je ne serais même pas sorti dans ces conditions (10 ans de kitesurf) Et sinon il existe un système de larguage qui est conçu pour les cas d'urgences et là c'était un cas d'urgence. SVP passez par une école au moins 1 ou 2 heures avant de tester tout seul.
