I seen one today in 19/12/23 in Edinburgh. I then came on here to find out what a nacreous cloud was.

I'm wondering if nacreous clouds could show evidence of changes in the stratosphere caused by trans-Arctic passenger jet travel. The More on Nacreous clouds only has Wikipedia as a working link. For pronunciation is "nack re ous" OK? Jet travel would put warm water vapor and CO2 into the lower stratosphere. Are there more nacreous clouds now than there were 50 years ago? When the research into ozone holes was being performed, were they looking for gaseous CO2 in the stratosphere?

No this can't be accurate... I've seen these clouds in Virginia while it wasn't cold and not during twilight hours..!
My mom, daughter and myself were riding up the street next to a Dollar General during daylight hours. I had never seen clouds so beautiful... I was excited and in disbelief like omg look y'all and they acted as if they had seen them before and I was just being silly and overdramatic. Still to this day I've never seen them again but have never forgotten about em. It's just now that I'm learning the name of them. Straight up. Live in love and light.

They are called polar stratospheric clouds. Where are earths poles located? :)
It's like aurora. That too is less common the further away from the poles you go.
Either it's simple science, or it's some kind of conspiracy. Decide for yourself what you want to believe. :) The explanation is in the video though, so it shouldn't be too difficult to find out.
