Always liked this story, american general being given a note from the surrounding germans: "SURRENDER OR BE ANNIHILATED" "They want to surrender?" "No, they want US to surrender." Him: "NUTS!"
Your reactions to Sabaton's music warm my heart. I'm a big Sabaton fan and very proud that they come from Sweden. Their music tells what it was like without taking sides and makes sure that everything terrible about war is not forgotten. That maybe we can learn to change and do the right thing as war solves nothing but only brings misery and destruction.
I really agree with you!😊 I feel exactly the same! They have been my favorite band since 2002, And forever will be ❤️🇸🇪🇸🇪❤️ Warm and Kind regards from a big Sabaton fan in Northern Sweden ❤️🇸🇪🇸🇪❤️
Thanks....I think I have said it before, I will be joining you on your journey, deepdiving into Sabatons catalogue. I also agree with you, trying to forget or erase history is dangerous, we need to be reminded of what has happened and how it come pass. Lest we forget!!
Hi! I love your videos and reactions, they are awesome. Im a sabaton fan. You have still all their best songs left. 82nd all the way + cover by amaranth, the last stand, red baron, night witches animation movie, no bullets fly animation movie, Winged hussars (movie with polish horses), the last battle, the unkillable soldier, soldier of heaven, Christmas truce, the first soldier, carolus Rex (with soldiers in the movie), gott mitt uns, cliffs of gallipoli, panzerkampf, defence of Moscow, royal guard + livgardet, attack of the dead men, plus cover by tapok (russian). Have a nice day 😊 cheers from Sweden
"NUTS !" Hell Yeah ! Considering the Argonne (The Lost Battalion) & Bastogne (101st Airborne) surrounding Americans troops in European forests is NOT advised.
great reaction and glad to hear you are going to delve in to their history channel too. This one is about the Battle of the Bulge. Greetings from Belgium
Sabaton is one of my favorite bands, I'd always say my favorites were Sabaton and Ghost, but Falling In Reverse is up there as of recently. I'd definitely recommend Ghost, their recent music is similar to pop, they've been referred to as "Goth Abba" but their older music goes very hard, regardless they haven't had a single song I've disliked! They also have a fantastic sense of humor!
But as u say, Nobody really wins in War. We can learn from it & take some pride in the accomplishments of our country. As people in the UK, France & other nations hv every right to have pride in their nations. But, those who "really know" do have a duty to be honest about it. Thanks for your service Brother!
During that time it was world War 1, or at the time known as the Great War. Early use of aircrafts mostly used as recon, and the wars was fought mostly in trenches. This song mentions fighting Nazi troops, those didn't exist during ww1 so automatically its about ww2 that was going on from 1939-1945. BUT it's connection to ww1 is to an old War veteran that wanted to continue the war his way and sorta did and would probably never get to power if it wasn't because of the war payment penalties Germany had to pay. And that Carpet munchers name is Adolf Hitler, founder of the Nazis and many other atrocities

For more Sabaton I'd recommend White Death, Primo Victoria, The Last Stand, and 100% would recommend The Final Solution
