I think a lot of people prefer to be night owls if they are introverted. I love being awake at night when there are less people around to bother me. Another fun video Nal!! I didn't say Bruh, but I did say DAMN a lot, that's my equivalent.
Always been a night owl. But you do get used to getting up early if you force yourself for long enough. You don't have to like it or enjoy it, but you get used to it.
Last year in school I went to bed a nine in the evening, every day no matter what. I got up at half past five, got on the bus that left at five minutes over six. Switched to a train and then to another bus that took 45 minutes before I got to school at a bout a quarter to eight. Every day the same, and I had friends who got up almost an hour earlier than that to get to the train at the other side of town.
And I hated it! Not school but getting up that early. I did have a lot of time to read though...
I had a summer job that had me getting up at five...
When I finally got a job after school I didn't have to get up before seven, or seven thirty if I stepped on it. Pure vacation after getting used to force myself to get up early. Still didn't like it though. When I finally had my vacation I turned my day over. Slept till five in the afternoon and went to bed in the morning. It was glorious!

nal, I think the term you're looking for is night owl for nights and masochist for mornings.
Well, I've been a night owl for about 25 years of my adult life. Until I almost unexpectedly became part of a family with a kid and just working the nights wasn't as great an option anymore. Then I learned something about my night-owledness. I learned that if I go to bed earlier, getting up in the mornings is actually pretty easy. And I realized that I never really tried it before.
Take that as you will. I know that it's not JUST that. I like working at night for many reasons. But I used to say that I just cannot. And that simply wasn't true. I actually didn't really try, until I had to.

I feel you on the night owl situation. So much so that I work with Australia/New Zealand customers but live in the United States. I typically work from 5pm - 2am. Done it for the past 10 years and I love the schedule.

10:30 re: morning people vs night people. Dude, Same. I have had periods of life where for work or family or some reason I had to wake up in the mornings on a regular basis. Did I do it? Yes. Did my body "get used to" that sleep schedule? Meh, in a sort of kind of way, but never really. It is always a struggle to fall asleep at night; it is always a struggle to wake up in the morning. Given the opportunity to make my own schedule, to do work when I'm most productive, to fall asleep and wake up by my body's own circadian rhythms: 2am - 10am. That's a solid eight hours of sleep. I'm not "lazy," I'm taking up the same percentage of our 24 hour day as a person who sleeps from 10pm-6am. Eight hours. Same. If those people want to accuse me of "wasting the morning," then I can turn around and accuse them of "wasting the evening." If we're both sleeping for eight hours, and both working for eight hours, and both having eight hours of personal time, then we're the same. Morning people get all the attention (like extroverts do). But night people contribute to society, too! (as do introverts. Not saying they're related, just two oft-maligned groups that I happen to be a part of.)

I'm a strait up vampire I work third shift at UPS Sunday through Thursday 9:30 on Sunday 10:30 or 10:45 rest of the week. Get off work around 2:30,3:00,3:30 sometimes 4 in the morning don't go to bed till 7 or 8.

Some people are just night people, I'm the same, spent years working 7am-3:30pm, would still fall asleep at like 3-4am every night then crash on weekends and sleep for like 16hrs.. Now I work 7pm-4:30am and have no trouble sleeping...
There is actually a condition called DSPD/ DSPS which stands for delayed sleep pattern disorder or delayed sleep phase syndrome and is a rare condition that causes someone's internal circadian rhythm to be off, causing them to be naturally more of a night person. It is kinda rare but it is more common in people with ADHD, ADD, or something similar. Universities like Stanford and the Mayo Clinic have researched it and still don't know what causes it and there isn't really a cure, but as long as it doesn't really interfere with your daily life it isn't that big of a deal. But it is still pretty fascinating, I've had it since i was 13 but only just recently learned about the specific disorder.

1:00 no need to be that shocked, as the competition is quite intense in the phone market, a lot of Android phones have come out equipped with outstanding 100+ MP cameras in the last 4 years, and obviously Samsung was amongst the first ones to do so. It's no surprise that the quality of their product is on another level.

I am not a morning person either. I got up at 6 AM for about 12 years and I *never* got used to it. I hated it every single time, if anything I hated it more as the years passed. I refuse to get up before 10 AM if I have any say in the matter.

I've always been a night owl. I've worked third shift most of my life even as a kid I told my mother once that I wish they had night school I was also seven at the time I'd be so much happier I hate the day and I hate crowds sucks off my claustrophobia.

If you're gonna do 10 hours of work on a dissertation and not save it, then you probably need this to happen to learn your lesson...besides, in what world can a single accidental tap of a mouse delete everything you've done...deleting stuff is a multi stage process for that exact reason...also...autosave is a thing, unless you are daft enough to switch it off

100% night owl here. Have a job that starts at 2pm and ends at 10pm. Good stuff. As an introvert I very much enjoy the limited time I have to interact with other people in my rented flat. Good stuff. Night raids on the fridge are the standard. Good.. stuff... Been like that since early teens, have no intention of changing it. In fact, sometimes I stay up into the dawn, see the cold brightness coming up and be like "hell no, time for bed".
On a serious note, people like us were an advantage to have in an early society group since we can do night watch with no problem. Part of why we are so successful animal is that we can operate in any time of the day.
I once went to order food at an ice cream at an eatery. The only person at the ice cream section was an old man sitting on a low stool wiping the floor around him with a wet rag. He got up and took my order and I was praying that he would wash his hands first. To my horror he didn't but luckily I was more interested with the side dishes instead of the ice cream. This required him to use a thong and a plate so his dirty hands didn't make any contact with my food. With an internal sigh of relief I made my way into the eatery to eat my food.
As I was making my way to a table I looked back at the ice cream section. The old man was caught off guard by two ladies who do want to buy ice cream. He obliged and filled their ice cream cones...with his bare hands. The same hands that, were less than a minute ago, were used to mop the floor with a wet rag. Perhaps he did wash his hands in the several seconds that it took me to reach my table but I doubt it. After the ladies went away with their ice cream the old man continued mopping the floor with his hands.

1. Want people to think you're not broke (stupid cause samsung and iphones are the same price)

Because, when Android first came out, it was "the complicated" system, much like many folks think of Linux for PC, verses Windows or Mac. IPhone had a dumbed down operating system that was easy for anyone to understand, so people flocked to it. Android has been made just as dumbed down and easy to use now a days, but that sigma of being "the hard to use phone" stuck in public opinion

I started with a Galaxy phone, but I just didn’t like the UI layout. Not to mention my last Galaxy was a Galaxy 3 which for some reason loved to heat up in my pocket. 10+ years ago but I haven’t gotten over it 😒….
I worked for a railroad for 28 years. I worked midnights for 25 of them. I loved the nights. In retired now at 56 and I reversed it. I get up at 5 am and work on leather.

Growing up I never had trouble getting up, getting to class, etc. As an adult, I've almost always worked jobs evenings or overnight, so now I have trouble getting up early. Anything I have to do before noon is torture.

Fellow night owl here. Same thing happened to me, when I was a teen and am not a morning person either. Aside from about a year in college with one job I had, my jobs have always been evenings or nights. I seem to do best going to bed around 2 am to 4 am and sleeping until 10 am to 11 am. I feel the best rested when I awake and most energetic throughout my day.

That change in sleep patterns isn't until you are much older. I only worked 2nd and 3rd shift for something like 25 years before I started getting to the point where I was getting up earlier and going to bed earlier. Granted right now that means bed at around 12:30 - 1:00 am and waking up around 8:30 - 9:00 am so it's still not really early like some people but when you consider I used to seldom wake up before noon it's still a big change in the sleep schedule.

The thing about a place where they put their hands in the food is that they’re either too poor to have enough proper cooking utensils, or they don’t care about cleanliness. There’s almost never a reason for someone’s hands or other body parts to make contact with a customer’s food. Besides, unless there’s a sink within reach of the food prep area, the chances of a person’s hands remaining completely clean from the restroom, or wherever, are very slim. People tend to adjust something or fix themselves up before leaving the restroom. Then there’s the door. Other than that, there’s the chance that it’s done on purpose, either out of frustration or even a kink.
your sleeping pattern described me perfectly, but now I have to get up early for work. So, I go to sleep at 2:00 am and wake up at 5:50 pm for work. If I sleep anymore I get a migraine headache.

Comparing an iphone 13 to a 22 ultra isn't fair. Comparing the flagship phone against the the standard is like comparing a porche against the Toyota Camery. Both cars are great, but the porche is designed for something very specific.

Regarding why I use iPhone still - when I got my iPhone 5 they were still the superior brand technology wise and plus everything that connected to phones was guaranteed to work with iPhones, but android phones weren’t guaranteed to work. Now androids are the superior phones and obviously cameras which are one of my fave gestures, BUT now I have like 10 years of paid music and apps on my apple account I don’t want to just throw that all away to get a Galaxy….hopefully apple camera technology steps up - the next gens seem like they aim to, time will tell.
