Wow, I spent time in siargao in the late 90's, then in 2009, 2011, 2015, and finally 2017 was our last trip. We watched the evolution on the island. Modern day Siargao, I cant even recognize anymore. The Unfortunate passing of Odette this past December, hit the Reset button. My prayers and positive energy go out to the locals of Siargao, while they rebuild.
