Funny enough, in the Manga, Krona never actually covered the moon in sound waves. He covered the moon in madness. Just like they did in the Ukrainian town mentioned in the video.
His sound waves aren't that strong. Never have been
Their only advantage is the black blood itself. And the Madness it allows them to inflict/control. In fact, his sound waves are probably the weakest resonance attack of the main 4 teams because the souls have to be in sync and Krona and Ragnarok kinda detest each other.
Also, Venom may actually be able to take over Krona. But it's hard to say because his soul is literally connected to Ragnarok during resonance.
The deciding factor in this fight is 100% the black blood. But that has been shown to be cut by chainsaws and regular bladed attacks. Albeit only by professional meisters and death scythes(Death scythes are shinigamis personal weapons. Ones that have eaten 100 evil souls and the soul of an witch giving them magical abilities)
A much better match up woulda been Maka and Soul vs Venom as Soul also uses sound waves(though his are actually yknow.. useful. affecting the soul directly and even allowing him to control souls to a degree) and also has black blood (to a MUCH lesser degree as he falls into insanity when he uses it)

You do get that's why they went with manga crona right? Cause it's the original one? Death battle knows the anime changes things so they stuck to the manga mostly.

@@gageunruh3574 My point is their research was dead wrong in some areas. Even when using Manga Krona whom only appears, truthfully, between major arcs and at the final battle.

@@lop90ful1 Well Krona is susceptible to insanity even though he is technically the source of it. Just like the Kishin in the manga.
Plus hes still human. Doesn't need his soul destroyed or anything. Just cut him like almost every other character has done and have a war of attrition.
Or, just use the symbiote to change Kronas soul wavelength through affecting his emotions.
Because, in the Soul Eater manga, if weapon and meister aren't in PERFECT sync, theres a backlash. That syncronization is based heavily in emotions.
Soul turned scalding hot for Maka when they were angry and too heavy to lift for Black Star when they couldn't beat Kid in their first encounter.
If Krona and Ragnaroks souls dont agree on something, Ragnarok will have an affect. And since Ragnarok is Kronas literal blood, chance are they'll die. And the symbiote could definitely do that. Change Kronas emotions, that is

@@Xeno455 they didn't mention it but crona's black thorns actually have a poison that when cut with them causes the person to become desynced with their weapon to the point it physically burns to touch each other. So crona could even cause venom to flee from Eddie due to the intense pain to both of them and crona could easily deal with them that way
