You can tape the clothes instead of the body which act as a lining =) but it might peel the paint color off (like the glove material) depending on the type of material the clothing is made out of

Great video, very informative for anyone looking for them :) I have all three too and I had to learn a lot as a first time Dollfie Dream owner too! Totally made the mistake with not protecting the foreheads from tiaras. All in all those beauties are definitely centerpieces in any collection, love the attention to detail. Btw they do pop up on sale on Volks USA occasionally during special events if I remember correctly.

Definitely worth keeping an eye out on Volks USA, last time they had Mars and Mercury for sale during Christmas 2019 event. It's possible they popped up after that but I haven't been checking news regularly enough. I hope everyone looking for them will have a chance eventually!

It's just as easy to snatch them on the Japanese site. I agree, I applied for an extra Juban uniform on the USA lottery, and didn't win. But won everything I applied for on the Japanese lottery...
I say this a lot, but even though I'm not a doll guy (I do action figures and anime figures), there's some that I'd gladly make exceptions or and any Sailor Moon ones would be such exceptions. They all look so friggin pretty and I would love to have one. If not Sailor Moon, maybe Mars and Mercury since they were two of my favorites. But dang, $700 is... quite a bit, so I can only imagine. For now, I guess I'll just live with having the SHFiguarts for most of them, but yeah, I have to agree that they are just so friggin pretty and as a guy I would not be ashamed in owning one of these because they looks so beautiful displayed. Ironically earlier this year, toy company Hasbro put out a Transformer toy that was like $700 and he's apparently like 2 feet tall as well, so maybe that kind of size just commands the steep price. Although a lot of TF fans kind of question if said toy is worth $700, a part of me almost feels if I had to choose between owning that or one of these dolls, I might be happier with the dolls, but then again, maybe it's just me admiring how pretty they are.
@@ochibawolf no problem. I might not have spent $700 on a single item, but I've probably spent almost as much on the things I get in a year. Considering the item you spent it on, I would not blame you since I think it is well worth the "price of admission," as they say.
Sometimes I get marks of with 100% Acetone nail Polish remover. I have very expensive dolls as well not dollfier but I have disney limited edition 17" dolls. And sometimes there's a mark or two on them.
You can use pinvise with bit less width from the actual earing .... drill it slowly and gently with the angle you want.. .. after that.. you able to pierce it with bit less worry
I love these but i can't spend that money and i have nothing in my collection that big. I really don't want anything that big. I can't wait to see you unbox the superS fuku and the school uniforms. I just saw tonight that Jupiter is going to be released!
i really want a Hatsune Miku doll and I've found nothing cheaper than 800, ive wanted one since i was 6 and now im not sure ill ever get a dollfie, ill keep trying to find the Miku dollfie tho❤️

I have the Hatsune Miku Dollfie. Good point about the stand, it is highly recommended, but I had to install feet pads on the stand so it would not scratch my desk.

Japan Doll Direct is an awesome proxy to use to help find certain dolls!! I used them to track down my Len Kagamine DDS for a good price! He’s near impossible to find in the US :) What dolls are you currently looking for? :)

You do know this was in 2020 right? The yen was very close to that then. I paid around that with shipping for these. Today - yes the yen rate to USD is much better. Don’t be like this :/ it’s very rude and not true and only makes you look bad. EDIT: The yen was ROUGHLY 106 yen in 2020 which made 70,000 yen = $660. Fact check before you come at a content creator's older video.
Also: If you Brough a new realse limited DD. (E.g. The new miku) They are still 600-700 from volks US or official retailers. While getting from volks jp direct is cheaper. A $400 DD can turn into $600 with shipping and import tax if applicable. Plus. For the sailor moon DD. Secondhand most sell for around 700-1k. So nothings changed😂
You failed to mention dollfies are total trap.... you can never just own one. They are addicting lolol. I got my first as a gift from my significant others and now she is 1500$+ on eBay. After that I got her a sister and one for my mom. And I’m watching this video while making clothes for them😂😂😂

I just use the tape and put them between wig cap and wig. did you get a wig cap? that might be your answer.
