The exiting things in off season I think like you do here in your vlog, to see more of our favorite players doing in their normal Life, like training, funny stuff etc etc
Honestly, what you are doing right now Trev is probably one of the most entertaining things. I don’t think the mlb will ever get to that point of backstage access any time soon. But the thing I have always wanted most was to get to know the players better and to learn that they are normal people too. They break things they make mistakes they have good days and they have bad days. That is what I love as a fan and that is what you provide so thank you.
As an autograph collector I respect the way you addressed that. I would think those who tracked you down are dealers more than collectors. I hope to get your autograph and meet one day and I'm hoping you will be at Citi Field when you sign with the Mets. Keep up the great work! #LFGM
To me, the coolest off-season entertainment piece would be to have a free agent type of all-star skills competition to just create more hype around free agents
I truly respect the way you spoke to those autograph seekers...great job...where if any place will you sign autographs...ie...card shows or maybe a day at the stadium when your not pitching or even mail you photos to autograph to the stadium with return postage included? Thank you for your consideration.
Quite honestly this is pretty entertaining. Seeing what your favorite players are up to during the offseason keeps you in the loop with baseball in ways that you don't regularly see. Not counting this offseason because of covid, but during a normal offseason , I think having some footage of what goes on at the WINTER MEETINGS might be fun. Hearing from GMs during winter meetings and even from team owners. If and when a deal goes down then get players reactions in person or at least audio, not just a tweet. - "Frontiers are where you find them."
Trevor love the idea of the fans being a part of the offseason. I’m a big Mets fan and Steve Cohen has done something no other club owner has done before by asking the fans about their opinion. Whether or not it results in a signing or sparking an idea it’s the fact that he takes the time to interact with us. Things like Cohen taking to social media and Trevor doing these vlogs. Shine some light into the hidden places.
the MLB should have a podcast for players to talk on (no commissioner or anything, just fully run by players), discussing their thoughts on other people in the league, trades, and a bunch of stuff that is happening
What you're doing is what I wish all mlb teams kind of did. I mean we don't need to see behind the curtain all the time but seeing your favorite players train, hang out with each other, race go karts or play putt-putt/video games with teammates/ coaches. Y'alls sandlot all star game in spring training was so awesome! I hope to see Pham and his humor back in the next one. In regards to restrictions etc. I'd have to agree with Luba, it should be up to the teams and players to be the entertainment, too many players and roster considerations for them to rush into decisions.
Most entertaining thing MLB can do is exactly what your doing now, VLOG. Keep doing what your doing and hopefully the rest will follow. Side note, sign with the Dodgers ppppppplease
It would be super entertaining if a team publicly announced via Twitter/Instagram etc when they have made an offer. For example, imagine the NY Mets one morning tweeted out: "The New York Mets have offered SP Trevor Bauer a 3 year $100 million contract" and then two days later Trevor tweets out "I have rejected the offer from the NY Mets". In summary, it would be cool if teams and players gave the fans insight on everything that is going on during the offseason
Ways to make the MLB off-season more interesting. 1. Lower the amount of years a player is under team control. Let players hit free agency earlier in career so they get paid accordingly for their prime! 2 Salary Cap Floor. Teams have to spend a certain amount. 3 Free Agency doesn’t start until December. Teams can start negotiations with players 2 weeks prior to the start of free agency so mid November, while you sprinkle in awards etc. That way you get a big splash first couple days but you absolutely can’t fill your team with just 2 weeks to negotiate. So there will be more signings. 4 Have a MLB Free Agency Opening Day. Nationally televised with the hottest names signing big deals. (Per my changes they would have had 2 weeks already to discuss so whosever deals are done can be a surprise announcement that first night.) You can’t tell me fans wouldn’t have tuned in to see if their team got Bryce Harper or Manny Machado last year. Then the players could sign their contracts, do interviews and try on jerseys. It’d be like MLBs version of the NFL Draft but with Players you’ve already watched and enjoy seeing. Sorry for long post hope you take a look at it and congrats on the amazing year you deserved that Cy Young!
I think Trevor nailed it when he said that the most entertaining way to do the off-season would to publicly announce all the offers. BTW Trevor should come to the Jays because then he has a country behind him, not just a city. Trevor is an awesome dude.
A salary cap would make the offseason more exciting because, as an O's fan, I already know we aren't going to spend money and bring any superstars in, so what do I have to be excited for about the offseason? Put a salary cap into effect to create more competition for talent during the offseason. That will create more excitement in smaller markets like Baltimore or Pittsburgh, because now those teams have the same opportunity to sign stars as everybody else does.
As an Orioles fan, honestly, the offseason is one of my favorite parts of the season. Don't get me wrong, I love watching the guys play, but I'm also a total nerd about the business side of the game! This offseason seems to be going slower than normal, but right now I'm just waiting for the stove to get hot. To the "average" fan, it might not be entertaining, but for guys like me, watching Mike Elias do his thing and try to tear down and rebuild the team (and watching the other GM's try to maintain and get better), I love it!
Pure entertainment value for free agent signings - have a 48 hour window where every team makes a bid on the top 10-15 free agents of that off season. Once a team makes a bid it’s public record and fans can compare the contract values. Could be interesting to see every team’s thought process on top guys available and what their needs are.

Hey Trevor, I don’t know if you’re going to read this but as a businessman, signing with a big market like the New York Mets will instantly grow your brand, Momentum. Imagine vlogging in a professional NY team where no player has ever done. Anyways, hope you sign with the Mets.
