I'm amazed you can have those types of stores in Japan! Those would never work in the US, within a week (at most), the store would have been completely emptied out and probably ransacked for good measure, just because.
I agree. It is nice to hear about though! We will likely never have one like this in the US. Maybe like the ones in Singapore where you have to check in with a credit card and there are security cameras out the wazoo.
O my goodness that food looks amazing. I love the cake in the tin is so beautiful. Unfortunetly that store will never last in South Africa alot of crime. Thank you for this amazing video❤
Thank you for watching as always!! The can cake looked really amazing and tasted perfect✨In Japan, there is surprisingly little theft in these stores😂I think they are scared of the security cameras🤔
@DigDigJAPAN its always a pleasure thank you for making this amazing videos appreciate so much. Please eat another one of the can cakes for me also😂🤣. Yes think they are scared of camera lol that wont stop our thieves here at all.
I really want to try the Can Cake! To me, it seems expensive for its size even though you said the amount is worth more. The strawberry chocolate sweet sounds so good! If I ever visit Japan I will be thankful for your many videos! Thank you for your videos!
Thank you for watching the video! ! It's true that can cakes may be expensive. I don't know if there are technical issues with can cakes, but I have the impression that they are expensive no matter what manufacturer they are made from 🥹But they're delicious! ! Please come visit Japan😍
Amazing all the unique foods you can purchase from an unmanned store! Despite being frozen, you could tell that everything was freshly made with quality ingredients. The spice ramen looked so delicious. 🔥🍜🥵
It's true!! I was really surprised at how high the quality of the frozen food was😳 When I bought the spice ramen, I didn't know it was so spicy, so I was really surprised at the first bite and honestly panicked🤣🤣
In the US cities, such stores would no longer work. Possibly in the cities they never would have. But I grew up in a very small town while it was still small, and the honor system was often used. A small store owner would leave his store unlocked and a can of change on the counter while he ran an errand. People would come in, get their items, pay their money and take their change. Farmers in very rural places still sell milk, eggs, spare veggies the same way. It's called honesty, not cowardice.
The town you grew up in is a lovely place ☺️ It's really amazing that the cans with change in them are left out with no security!! I was also surprised to see unmanned sales at rural farms 😳
That was cool. Everything looked delicious. I would totally go for the udon, shrimp gyoza and the spicy ramen. The rolled cakes reminded me of when I was a kid and visited my Grandma when she was making a specialty cake. After she'd carve it into the shape she wanted, she'd let me eat the scraps mixed w/ whipped cream. It was fun and so yummy.
Thank you for always watching ✨ They were all so delicious!! Your grandmother is such a wonderful person that she even made a special cake for you!! (I thought that since the candy story😳) And it's such a wonderful and unforgettable memory of you☺️
Japan looks amazing I hate to say it but I don’t think a shop like that would last 5 minutes in the Uk a few decades back maybe but not now . I thought those sweet potatoes looked great very interesting and the shrimp dumplings I’ve never seen anything quite like that I was eating those with you yum yum 😋❤️
I'm so happy to hear you say that about Japan! Thank you ☺️ I'm surprised you didn't last five minutes, but I'm relieved that it's not the case now!! Sweet potatoes like this are very popular in Japan and I love them so much!! Thank you for eating with me😆✨ yum yum😋

Hi the food looks awesome. I mute say the shrimp dumplings, and the sweet potato is my favorite. What was that glaze on the sweet potato? Tell your wife hello. And I whish you and your family a happy holiday.
Hi, thank you for watching as always!! I think the sweet potato glaze is made by mixing soy sauce and sugar and letting it harden!! Sorry for the missing explanation🥹 Hello from my wife🙋🏻♀️ Happy holidays to you and your family too 🥰
What would keep someone from robbing that store blind? Other than trust. Even in Japan, there are thieves, and that's a big box of money too! Im a jaded American, lol. The food looked great, though.
Japan has relatively few robberies, but if I had to say, I think the characteristic of Japanese robberies is that they are more likely to occur in stores where you can get money if you get something, such as jewelry stores!! This is just my opinion🤣lol
Was the first item...the frozen sweet treat....like a Popsicle? I was cringing a little because I have cold-sensitive teeth & can't bite into popsicles 😅. The sound of you chewing it was like nails on a chalkboard to me 😂😂😂. But seriously, another very enjoyable, informative video. Would love to visit Japan some day ❤❤❤
Do you have sensitive teeth? 🥹Sorry if I offended you. My wife has sensitive teeth too and can't chew popsicles like this🤣 I hope you come to Japan one day!! Thank you for watching the video🥰
I'm amazed you can have those types of stores in Japan! Those would never work in the US, within a week (at most), the store would have been completely emptied out and probably ransacked for good measure, just because.
I'm sorry it's like that there. That's very sad to hear. Maybe you could move up here?
I agree. It is nice to hear about though! We will likely never have one like this in the US. Maybe like the ones in Singapore where you have to check in with a credit card and there are security cameras out the wazoo.
True in South Africa also
Also true in the UK, the box with the money would be the first to go!
The only thing I disagree about is, I feel, it would be cleaned out in a day. So sad.
Absolutely love your content, as well as your consistency. Keep up the good work
Thank you so much for your wonderful comment!! I will continue to do my best to make sure you enjoy it☺️✨

Hi there dear friend, I must tell you that until I started watching your amazing videos, I had no idea people put cheese on curry! Fascinating ❤

The first frozen sweet is what I call a popsicle but you call it ice candy which is cool
I didn't know they were called popsicle!! 😳 My English is still poor, but this is a great way to learn📝
I need one of those electric griddles you used for the beef tongue. 😂
The hot plate I use is made by a company called "BRUNO"!! (It also comes with a takoyaki maker and a deep pot ☺️)
Amazing ❤
Thank you for watching the video first again this time ☺️❤️

Enjoyed....
I'm so glad you enjoyed it ☺️
LMAO 😂 what you mean? The color of the meat the beef Tongues worry you 😂 LMAO
I think of raw beef tongue in Japan as red, so I get worried when it's brown 😂
I'm From India Sir😊😊
Hi!! Thank you for always watching my videos☺️
5:46 A runny fried egg or a raw egg would’ve been good on top
Wow, definitely!! That's the best recipe🤤🤤
The kaarage looked great. It would be wonderful with curry. I personally dont like sweet curry, im a spicy fan 😊
The karaage was really delicious and I want to order it again☺️Oh, I understand!! I like spicy curry too!!

wish we had that stuff over here . but the no staff stores wont work here people be stealing
Unmanned stores are so convenient!! You have to be really thorough with security🥹
@ yes people here would break the windows down
Mutual trust....no future for such shops here in EU 🥴
This may be unique to Japan🤣😂
wah sistem seperti ini, sepertinya tidak bisa di terapkan di banyak negara, termasuk negaraku indonesia 🤔
Saya merasakannya ketika saya melihat bagian komentar, Rupanya Jepang itu istimewa🤣
How is nothing stolen from here? In the UK the store would be trashed!
Maybe... they think it's food so it's not worth stealing...🤔
In the uk this shop would be robbed within the week and the cash aswell
I'm surprised Japan isn't like this 😂
That Hinoya curry looks so disgusting 🤢🤮
05:24
I noticed that too. I think it's just the way it kinda plopped out of the package that made it unappetizing
It certainly doesn't look pretty, but it sure tasted good🤣👍🏻
