Thank you for the wonderful explanation and example of what the gift of interpretation of tongues is. I had been asking the Lord for the gift of interpretation. And he gave me the answer today in your sermon. He had already given me the gift I just didn't know it. I pray exactly as you said, in tongues and then in english. What an awesome God we serve. I will certainly listen and apply your teaching to cause a breakthrough for the backslidden and lost in my family. Thank you Pastor Sweet.
Keep praying for him even if he turns to the worse. In fact if he gets worse then your son is on his way to getting saved. Do not be discouraged and give up. These are the last days.
HOW do we pray for them? Simple, ask the Holy Spirit to guide us and breath into our hearts and minds the strong crying and tears of our Lord Jesus who was HEARD in that He feared. (Book of Hebrews).
do they believe that Christ's blood alone can cleanse them and have they acknowledged their sins, asked for forgiveness and repented? thats the real question.
As someone who is still backslidden and is turning back to the Lord, I needed a reminder of these promises
