This is super cool seeing you make life sized legos! I would absolutely love to see you make a life size Lego lightsaber hilt because those are so classic!
@@OdinMakes both of these Lego projects came out absolutely amazing. I'd never think to suggest something like this as a build idea, but I honestly hope you can find an opportunity to squeeze in a few more of these. So fun to watch!
The best part of this video for me is your reactions to those "accidental" discoveries you made during the build. Shows the biggest point of these builds is to have fun! 🥰
I obviously don't speak for any other of your 583K-1 subscribers, but I for one wouldn't mind you flooding the channel with giant LEGO builds at all! ^ ^
Brings back childhood memories of building an entire cityscape on the desk my big sister left me when she moved out and I was still in kindergarten, with a police station, fire station, harbor and vehicles of my own design.
I use PVC pipes a LOT for making holes in foam. Just sharpen the edge a LITTLE with a rotary tool and it cuts like a dream. I would also recommend marking the tool somehow so you know its a tool and not a bit of pipe, I used some tape to make a "handle" on the backside. You can just poke the bits in it out, with a stick or some such.
In making the vents bigger to use the cutting tool to quote you "This is how Odin makes." Next you need the metal detector/ground sensor, what ever Lego calls it. When you were saying you lucked out on the pipe+foam for the antenna your expression gave flashbacks of the making of for the Mummy Returns of the director saying "I'm directing The Rock. He's only hit me once." You should wear the radio on your belt at a Cone sometime and see how long it takes someone to notice.
LEGO recently released some scaled up elements as part of, like, a beach kit and a snowman building kit. Hardly any of the pieces fit together, and the ones that did had no friction to hold them. Basically, you did upscaled LEGO better than LEGO did. Great work as always!
Love seeing "Life-Sized" Lego elements like this, really brings one back to their childhood. Have you considered adding electronics to pieces like these to make them functional? Add a flashlight to the "Torch" piece and an actual Radio/Walkie-Talkie to the radio?
Wow! That looked so great. Now all you need is a LEGO space/biker helmet with visor, and a fireman/space oxygen tank on your back, and you will be a real space marine 😉
AWESOME!! You really need to make the full spaceman suit but for sure the red transparent bulb and maybe small radar dish to go at the end of the torch!
Odin, you"re like the cool uncle I wish I had! Not gonna lie, your happy energy is helping me get out of a dark place right now. So thank you very much sir. You're too pure for this world my friend. we appreciate you more than you'll ever know. :)
Great work! Next time you cut a ball in half, grab a wood hand screw clamp to hold onto it while cutting on the bandsaw. The clamp makes a super sturdy base and keeps those hands far from the blade.
You can tell Odin needed a win when he got that antenna by luck. So many times I get set backs and headache, but that one lucky win? Makes you feel like a new 13 year old boy, wild and out in the open, ignoring their mother yelling at them for what they done to the dog. By golly, we will see the sun tomorrow!
It's a really cool episode to see, good job on the prop! I love every small moment when you realize something, like the air pressure from the tight fit, it really feels like we're along for the ride, cool discoveries and all!! Thanks for the video Odin!
Thank you Clement! That is one of the reasons I try to shoot all of the build, not just the 'parts I think I will need' It takes more time to write and edit, but I like the episodes more.
@@OdinMakes We can see all the work that goes into it, the quality of the videos is through the roof and I enjoy them very much, thank you for the content! :)
It’s the return of the cat toy! Could you make a classic Lego space helmet in the future too? Maybe even one that looks like Benny’s from The Lego Movie where the chin piece is split a little just for laughs?
I love that you use the metric system! I really hate videos that tells me that a thing is "one-quarter-of-a-sixteenth-inch-and-half-a-thirtytwo-foot-divided-by-pie"... I can't relate to that.
I have my own human-sized LEGO "walkie-talkie" radio. That "element" was included in the 25-piece Snow Character Building Kit - LEGO (R) Collection x Target. It looks like only available during the 2021 Christmas holiday. I see now it is on clearance as of 01/13/2022.
I have a few options for you to build. Shinnoks amulet from mortal Kombat, The cupboard from Indian and the cupboard, the ragdolls from 9, Emily's storekeeper stone from amulet, and the fortnite OG Pickaxe
Have you ever considered making either Mankind, or Kanes original masks from WWF/E?... or if you wanted to be more modern, possibly Penta El Cero Miedo, or Luchasaurus masks? I think they would be awesome to see in your signature style!
Man I remember playing with my dad’s old legos at my grandma’s house. My brother and I had so much fun with the space legos especially bc we were obsessed with sci-fi. Cool prop, prop dad!
I'm not saying you need to make 'em functional, but you know what you need to do lol The Torch is perfect to have an LED flash light built into it, and you could totally whack the guts of some el cheapo walkie-talkies into a pair of the radios, with some polystyrene panels for internal structure.
Would this mean we'll possibly see a lego space helmet? Human sized lego is seriously a thing that brings me great joy.
There’s loads of big Lego 3D prints
If he makes the helmet, I hope it has the inevitable cracked chin strap.
I wager Odin will go full space attire for the lego set. Maybe with a jet pack?
@@ltwftw YES! The broken helmet is Mandatory!!
I’ll do you one better! How about a scaled Lego spaceman to hold the Lego props! A full Lego man would be awesome!
This is super cool seeing you make life sized legos! I would absolutely love to see you make a life size Lego lightsaber hilt because those are so classic!
One of the best things about this channel is your enthusiasm. Todays build really showed how much you love what you are doing
So cute to see Odin that happy with the result. You can see his tail wag.
Year of the dog, right here. :)
awesome! that came out perfect!
What was the last lego prop you made
Thank you William! I am eyeing more pieces for future builds...
@@OdinMakes Nice! Me too, but I have a lot of builds in line ahead of those so I have no idea when I'll be able to get to them.

An Odin makes Lego channel would be awesome!!!
Seeing those scaled up lego pieces fit together is so satisfying
Right? Happy!
Awesome! Makes me wish Lego cared as much about classic space as you do.

Idk what is it about the simple projects but they are always my favorite
I'd love to see you make a full Kamen Rider cosplay. There's so many to choose from too.
Space [Radio]! Space [Radio]! Space [Radio)!
Looks fantastic

To store them like on your wall, build a single lego block and stick that to the wall, then you can just connect your items to it ^^

Can't wait for your full lego figure cosplay. Only a matter of time. 😎
Now they need translucent red or solid red 1x1 rounded studs to go with them. That and a properly scaled lightsaber would be super cool

I have considered it, but both of these were last minute projects, no time for extras like that, yet
Wow! That looked so great.
Now all you need is a LEGO space/biker helmet with visor, and a fireman/space oxygen tank on your back, and you will be a real space marine 😉
This. Is. Awesome! I need to build one now!!
AWESOME!! You really need to make the full spaceman suit but for sure the red transparent bulb and maybe small radar dish to go at the end of the torch!
Great build! I'm also a huge classic LEGO Space fan.
Really cool. You really should make a green lantern Lantern that lights up and possibly ring as well. That would look insane
It looks so cool and adorbs with the minifigs posed inside it!
Odin, you"re like the cool uncle I wish I had! Not gonna lie, your happy energy is helping me get out of a dark place right now. So thank you very much sir. You're too pure for this world my friend. we appreciate you more than you'll ever know. :)
Imagine Odin making a large foam LEGO set. That would be wild!
please make the classic space helmet! it would look so coooool.
Great work! Next time you cut a ball in half, grab a wood hand screw clamp to hold onto it while cutting on the bandsaw. The clamp makes a super sturdy base and keeps those hands far from the blade.
Thank you Brian, I don't have one- what would be the best search term to find it?
You can tell Odin needed a win when he got that antenna by luck.

YAS! MOAR LEGO BUILDS!
You really need to make more of these.
Nice to see this from my childhood in full size. Hope to see more :)
Now you're just making content specifically for me. Amazing work, man!
If only
Too much fun! Love hearing you laugh so delightedly while making your favorite props!
Need the space helmet next, then the jetpack!!
That is an incredible build. I love it. I'd like to see one made into a cellphone case.
Love to see space suite
Make Lifesized lego blocks next! then build a car from it!
Man SacAnime was so much fun, hope stockton con was fun! -JP
When I saw the thumbnail I knew exactly what you were going to use for the antenna hemisphere 😂😂
This is also a great idea for a novelty phone case.
I absolutely love this. I love the whole Lego thing
Thank you!
Great job - awesome😁 giant Lego figure 🤔😄
Love it, reminds me of my old space lego!
My favorite thing is life sized objects being created miniture, my second favorite thing is mini pieces becoming life sized
I love these Lego builds!
Would it be safe to guess that your next Lego prop build might be either the space helmet or the space backpack?
The plastidip REALLY made it look like a Lego sized up from Honey, I Shrunk the Kids
Awesome! I think it's time to built the space shuttles of this set in the same scale
It's a really cool episode to see, good job on the prop! I love every small moment when you realize something, like the air pressure from the tight fit, it really feels like we're along for the ride, cool discoveries and all!! Thanks for the video Odin!

Love it! Hope you make more LEGO stuff.
I hope you end up making a Lego mini fig costume to go along with your radio and torch.
That turned out great, Odin! It's shockingly simple and I can tell you really, really enjoyed making it!
I love that you use the metric system! I really hate videos that tells me that a thing is "one-quarter-of-a-sixteenth-inch-and-half-a-thirtytwo-foot-divided-by-pie"... I can't relate to that.
Looks like you have the start to a Batou cosplay with those eyes.
Now you need the classic space helm, ofcourse it the rack in the chin
I would love to see a life size Lego person cosplay to go with these
You should make the lego lightsaber piece next
th-cam.com/video/MMwjLcMfiZg/w-d-xo.html 👈👈👈😳
William did a great job!
You should make the rest of the lego space suit to go along with the props
I have my own human-sized LEGO "walkie-talkie" radio. That "element" was included in the 25-piece Snow Character Building Kit - LEGO (R) Collection x Target. It looks like only available during the 2021 Christmas holiday. I see now it is on clearance as of 01/13/2022.

I have a few options for you to build.
Shinnoks amulet from mortal Kombat, The cupboard from Indian and the cupboard, the ragdolls from 9, Emily's storekeeper stone from amulet, and the fortnite OG Pickaxe
We need a human sized space helmet with the little crack on the bottom
This is a really cool series. Man, I miss legos...
Other lego build ideas: Blue Space Helmet, White Lightsaber hilt, Red Stud, yellow hand (to hold the walkie and torch)
Those leftover parts really remind me of Batou's mechanical eyes
So freaking cool :D - I really loved the radio, would be so cool with a real build in 2way radio :D
You do great work.
Love it odin and great job as always 👏 👍 👌
Thank you Bubbabaer!
*looks at the camera menacingly* A SMART PERSON
Wouldve measured this stuff
:)
hey maybe for the clip you make a foam base and foam arms with wire inside so it could bend and amazing work
well now you have away to talk to the lego people XD
YES! I didn't think of that!
I see lego, i like. Great job :)
Batto’s eyes from “Ghost in a Shell.” With those spare pieces.
Awesome build as always! Whenever you get back, can you make the prop night vision goggles from Jurassic Park?
Would Lego handcuffs be possible? That would be cool.
Honestly i think that the Cat Toy is my favorite channel meme. second place goes to Bumble Scorpion tho, and i wish he’d return to us one day
Bumble Scorp will!
That looks like a fun build could see you make a nexo knights sword
This is fantastic!
I would like to see wonder Joe as a minifig!
This was brillaint sir!!
like everyone else has said, the helmet or backpack should be your next build!
What would be really good is if Odin made a lego space man who could hold the torch and the radio
Have you ever considered making either Mankind, or Kanes original masks from WWF/E?... or if you wanted to be more modern, possibly Penta El Cero Miedo, or Luchasaurus masks? I think they would be awesome to see in your signature style!
Okay now I'm curious. Are you going to make a Giant Lego Man to hold those props?
Isn't it great when a project just goes well from the start?
Yes!
Dude this is awesome
Man I remember playing with my dad’s old legos at my grandma’s house. My brother and I had so much fun with the space legos especially bc we were obsessed with sci-fi. Cool prop, prop dad!
Thank you!
Nice job Odin
Thank you James!
That looks awesome
Thank you!
You should try making the original LEGO Star Wars Blaster, the one that was a backwards megaphone and a stud!
We need that Lego sword now!
Great job on this other kind of Lego build!
It's so cool how you lucked out :)
I'm not saying you need to make 'em functional, but you know what you need to do lol The Torch is perfect to have an LED flash light built into it, and you could totally whack the guts of some el cheapo walkie-talkies into a pair of the radios, with some polystyrene panels for internal structure.
Is good ideas
Dear Odin, please flood the feed with giant LEGO. Thank you.
i think it would be a great addition, if you also added the moldseems. It might make it look even more like a mini toy turnes gigantic
That’s so cool 😎
If we keep this classic space theme going, maybe a classic space helmet, crack from the chin being too thin included
