I can't express how much love and respect I have for all these beautiful hawaiian men & women, even the children. When they hula they are so on point, so stunning, so proud. I am from the Cook Islands and French Polynesian and our hula is extremely hardcore so believe me I can only imagine how TOUGH Hawaiian hula really is just by looking at the way they execute evvverything in fact I think it's way harder than Cook island & Tahitian dancing??!?!!🤔 L&R to the Hawaiian community Xx Manea
I used to dance for Kumu Obrien Eselu back at Aiea High School Polynesian Club 90-92. Kumu Obrien took me and another friend to his Halau hula practice to try out, man it kicked my okole. .watching this guy's at practice was mean bra. Bad ass. really nice people, I still recognized 5 of them back than. Thank you Kumu rip

Such art, These men convey the story well. Unison like that take A LOT of practice. No wonder they are buff. Unfortunately most of my Hawaiian culture is lost to me since we moved away. I don't understand the language anymore, not since I was a baby, yet I am surprised many of the words still sound familiar to me

Hawaii is a beautiful place to go my daughter and my son-in-law and my granddaughter me and my daughters mother-in-law they took us to Hawaii a remind me back home Remind me back home in the Philippines. It is so nice to see and to watch Hawaiian dance and thank you to keep the tradition alive and the people 's we met They are so kind and friendly. l hope one day l pray you have your island back to your aloha🙏😘
