I took it out to my balcony, wore a mask, closed the windows, started the air purifier at full speed, and pointed my blow dryer at full speed on the purifier fan from above the grill and all the dust inside blew out of the purifier. It does not clean perfectly but it's good enough.
Took 3 hours to dismantle and clean. What a xiaomi nightmare. For the bottom 2 panel sides, I got someone to hold it apart rather tightly, in order to see the clip. Vertically downwards, I used my tiniest screwdriver to fit and angle into the clip to take them apart. There's also that center portion/catch, just use a small screwdriver to push down and out. Hope this helps a bit!
i had hard time taking video of clips, mostly white panels which is clipped to the gray skeleton, the entire thing is clipped . i broke 2 clips by the way
Yep, xiaomi purposely make it hard to clean so that you either, 1) buy new purifier when it got dirty OR, 2) send to their service support for some fee. Some bs right there.
Managed to undo the whole thing without breaking any clips, but i still couldn’t separate the sode panels from the top. After you open the first 4 clips, there’s a central catch. After that you can stick your hand inside and slowly apply force in the middle of the panel to make it curve. it will release the next set of clips
Extremely difficult to disassemble for cleansing. A very stupid design. It looks good on the outside but not paying attention to easy of maintenance or ownership. They just don't care.....

I used compressed air. Seriously. They make it so you can't just clean it. It got dirty? Buy another one... Such a BS

doesnt show the most importatn part how did you unclip the rest of the panel where the clips are hidden in the top part

the top.part should be the last to remove , clips off easier, please be careful of the digital panel , it can be unplugged
Bad design on the fan, the ac M1 just unscrews from the top by hand.

plastic clips remover will be big help, and also flat screw, sorry it was hard to video the internal parts
