    I'm totally with you on the rollerball pens! I think of them as the "in-between" pens--the look and flow of a fountain pen, but not awful like a ballpoint. 2023 planners are calling . . . and it's tough to decide!

      Yes! I realized I had been complaining about how needy my fountain pens are and remembered I had my rollerballs-duh!😅

    U have had that star on ur tn for a long time! I have heard of planner peace but i find it hard finding tn charm peace. I’m constantly switching up my charms which would be fine, but none FEEEEEEEEL right.

      Charms are tough for me too! I’m surprised I even found one. Nothing else seems to click. Keep at it, once you find “the one” it’ll be worth it😄

    Hi Sarah! I am so happy you took some time for you and your family. I love the leather you have I actually had someone make me a B6 folio with the same kind of leather. It seems to be always in my hand. Love and Light to you and your family!🎃

    Wait. Whaaaaaattttt? Fountain pen ink in a rollerball pen???? This could be life changing! What is this sorcery?

    • @sarahmartinezjournals
      @sarahmartinezjournals  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Haha! There are several rollerball pens out there that have converters which will take fountain pen inks. Monteverde Engage One Touch is one I’ve had my eye on but I went with the cheaper Kakimori Rollerball. I haven’t found it in stock anywhere but you can get a closer look in this video: th-cam.com/video/_GOS8O-0TyE/w-d-xo.html

    Do you have a video where you talk more about journaling to your children? I want to do something like that for my son. I’d love to get your ideas on how you do it 🙂💜

      I have several videos about it but all I do is write a sentence or two to each kid. I try to find something from that day-something funny they did or said, something they accomplished, good character they showed, an interest they focused on. Sometimes it’s repetitive but I try to find a new angle. The point of it is to give them the completed journals when they’re grown. So it will be a comfort to them and maybe motivational. Also a bit of a memory keeper with some of their “firsts”.

    How do you like that rollerball. I just got the Monteverde retractable one and I like it, but I’d rather have one that caps. The retractables limitation is that lubricating inks are needed for its use and I don’t really own many of those. I’d rather have one that enables me to use what I have.

      I love it! It’s very lightweight and feels great in my hand. The squishy grip is also a bonus. I’ve wanted to try other more expensive rollerballs but I’ve never taken the plunge because I’m so happy with this one.

    Hi! The crosses on your books look like ours! 🥰 Are you Orthodox?

    • @sarahmartinezjournals
      @sarahmartinezjournals  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m not officially orthodox yet! I had a baby this past summer and our priest was with us to baptize her before she died a few minutes after birth (we knew she would die while I was pregnant and our priest guided me through that as well). So she received the full orthodox funeral which was the most beautiful service I had ever witnessed-I had no idea funerals could be like that and it provided me with so much peace. So I continue to learn and grow in the faith♥️

      I’m not officially orthodox…yet😊. My parents became orthodox about 3 years ago. I had a baby this past summer who died a few minutes after birth and our local priest was with us to baptize her before she passed and she received the full orthodox funeral-which absolutely floored me. I had no idea funerals could be like that. It gave me indescribable peace♥️. Our priest also guided me throughout my pregnancy knowing we would lose her and he didn’t have to do that. Needless to say, orthodoxy got me through the most tragic parts of my life so I continue to learn and grow in it♥️

      @@sarahmartinezjournals Sarah, thank you for sharing your story🙏my heart is aching when I try to imagine what pain you have been through... I am a mother of 5 kids...I know your baby is with God now. Yes, orthodox funerals and services are divine, and they really give you peace and unexplainable feeling of knowing that God is there, above us, loving and supporting us.
