He stated that the band would watch the 700 club because of what was going on and he told God that he would lip sync. He soon realized that you can't fool God. Saw him two more times at the Forum in Inglewood CA. where the Lakers use to play when Magic was running the show. Something told me to go see him because I did not know how long he would be alive. Teena Marie died at around 53 and I regret never going to see her in concert. I saw Prince in concert about 3 times in Total.. Greatest I ever saw live bar none.

Prince was really upset when Dez left he taunted him in the song Extralovable. But Prince, Andre Morris and then Dez were the most important grouping of Chemistry and Talent since the Beatles it's just their history is different but just as significant.

Prince was a geek. i can see that for sure. i think misty copeland or tamron hall said he would spend time on the internet sharing or creating memes lol. And he created all those characters like spooky electric, etc. those are definitely geek vibes

When Prince and Dez strapped on their Telecasters they as the Rolling Stones called it knitted together. They were magic together.
It's not the amount of time but rather the quality of the music and how fans relate to it , and yes I was a Big Fan .
He was heroic as he stood his ground that fateful weekend while playing the opening slot for the Stones at the LA Coliseum in 1981.
