I would like to see the fly fish pattern
Hi Martin do you add a hook guide to the back of the tube or do you just slide a hook in the back of tube?
On these you can put a soft hook tube on the back to keep it in line, but a lot of people nowadays are using loop knots and pulling the knot into the tube so that the hook is free
Hello, nice video. Could you please tell how long should be the tube ?
It depends on how how long you want the wing to be. Make the tube around 40% of the total length
Hey nice tie Martyn .... I have just recently seen these flies and was wondering how they ride in the water ? and how you fish them ? ok have a good weekend Im over in San Diego , Ca. at the beach chasing the Corbina this summer as usual .....Cheers !
ski bum they have a nice sinuous swim, and can be fished quite quickly to show the fish the side of the fly as it swings. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for the info.....
th-cam.com/video/gbeeH0C4HJg/w-d-xo.html I found this video that show's it in a bit more detail
Great fly but can you tie more saltwater flies
Thanks for watching, It's only about 2 weeks since I put a saltwater fly video up, and I'll do more when I get a chance. If you'd like to make specific pattern requests, consider supporting the channel at www.patreon.com/flickingfeathers
