What I quoted was literally from the script, its even on Cheryl's wikipedia that she's 17, if Jason was 17 when he died on the 4th of July, that would mean when they went back to school in September he would be turning 18 some point that school year, making him and Cheryl both Seniors, I think they just want to keep her in school longer but she's meant to graduating in season 3 (if they keep to the original age).

Jason is meant to be the same age as Polly, Polly is a Senior. And if they were engaged and going to elope we can assume that they weren't far off being 18, so the ages make sense when they said that he was 17, it just seems weird that they changed it now, thats all I was getting at.

I think what you're talking about is Madeline saying something like that the twins ages were a fuck up.I still think it makes more sense for her to be 17/18, because of Polly, the wedding/engagement, Cheryl's dad grooming Jason to start on the family business, and due to the fact that not everyone would be the same age in a real life highschool it would have been nicer if they'd show a little bit of variety but you know riverdale lol

How in the world could they cut this beautiful scene where Cheryl gives the rose to Toni? What went wrong with the creators. All the scenes where you could have seen their relarionship are cut! IT`s more like an off screen relationship in the show and I hate it. We`ll hopefully get to see, as they said, a lot more of screen time for choni.

Ikr I agree but I also feel like if they made it more public they would run out of scenes and just add tons of plot twists and drama because thats what many shows do when they run out of ideas they just break them up as a whole and I'd rather have not many scenes than a full breakup.

you know, I can accept them removing nearly all of those scenes, however, I'm truly ashamed that they didn't keep the hospital/voicemail scene. It added a lot more depth and emotion. Originally it was just fear and suspense, but with the added voice-over of Toni, telling her that she wasn't alone, it's a whole different ball game.
