**Literally numb with fascination.**
After hearing this version I now know this song is about A kid who has a father-figure who wants the kid to be just like him and grow up to do what he does but the kid doesn't want to. The kid still tries to do what his father wants to make him happy but he messes up a lot and realizes that he can't do it. And he tries to tell his father that he is smothering him and not letting him live his life. Sad, sad indeed. :(

it's actually about parents trying to make there children more like themselves but pushing them away instead a king them feel unloved, not good enough and in fact making the child feel worthless amongst everyone pushing the child/teenager into depression self harm suicide due to the fact that they feel like everyone would be better off and happy without them as they are no longer there to disappoint anyone I love the song and have for many years but I love the original by Linkin park as I was that teenager and this song helped me a lot as I related to it and if you listen to the words carefully it says "I may end up failing to but I know you were just like me with someone disappointed in you" so it is basically saying every generations the same and that our parents put us down as they were put down they want us to do better but through not using the right attitude they are in fact just helping us fail
Lol I guess you were too caught up in how good the original sounded that you didn't actually listen to the lyrics. This version was pretty shit so that's probably why you could actually realize the lyrics of the song has a deep story.
Only reason I like this more than most nightcore is that it isn't just the song sped up.

This might be really random but here I go.Don't you hate when your mom(or dad) won't let you tell your side of anything? For instance. Like when you are being called but you can't hear them so your sibling has to go get you. And when you come down stairs you see a really angry mom(or dad). So you are confused, because you don't know why they are so mad so you ask why they are mad. "You didn't hear me calling you?" "No...you called me? When?" "Just a minute ago. And you were ignoring me." "No I wasn't! I couldn't hear you!" "Maybe if I take away your computer you will hear me better." "But I didn't-" "Nu uh. Why were you ignoring me?" "I wasn't-" "Ah! No! Why...were you ignoring me?" And this goes on and on and on until you get so frustrated that you just give up on talking at all. Like this comment if you can relate at all. Because I feel like I'm the only one who is going through this frustration.

I usually dont like nightstep, but this one.... ...just feels so good to listen to.
This song is beautiful! I love the imbalance of the vocals and the dubstep; the vocals seem quieter than the dubstep, but at the same time they ring out over the dubstep. It's almost like symbolism; a girl may seem weak and helpless, but she will rise over her oppressors.

I wanted to die until my best friend came into my hospital room crying because she thought that I had died. She said she wishes I would have told her I wish I had also. You will find that special person even if it takes a while.
I have been through the same... but now i got body paint and actually use a brush on my canvas. I use it as a meditation so i can handle my emotions better..

Though I don't find this particular arrangement to my liking (or most dubstep-ish music for that matter) I would like to thank you for doing it right. Too many people slap nightcore lables on songs that have only been sped up, I think NightCore cries every time he sees stuff like that. So, for the actual modifying of the pitch and addition of back beats and bass (and other sounds) I thank you.
