My wife and I spent the day there only two days ago. Although plenty of quality shopping stores, the city looked grey and overcast with tall building on each side. Basically it a grey concrete jungle and not much pleasure. Concerning is the lack of native Britains. It like more like a country in India or Pakistan. We won’t go there again.
God what utter rubbish, there are plenty of modern buildings in Birmingham and open spaces if you bothered to walk out of the main shopping area and is not a grey concrete jungle, there a loads of white people in Birmingham just that you sound a racist country bumpkin and Brum is nothing like Indi or Pakistan and if you think negative like that we Brummies don't want snobbish racist country bumkins here and I bet where you live basically is no different
What do you expect in a modern City Centre that was bombed out during the 2nd world war and had to renew itself and sorry it is not grey and overcast in the City Centre and the pleasure part is arround the Canal area not the shopping area and there are plenty of white people if that is what you are refering to with the saying "lack of native Britains". Birmingham is no different to any City in the world sorry to say and if you think Brum looks like India or Pakistan have you been there I dought it as these places full of Mud Huts, if you think that way I very much dought you hve visted my Home City of Birmingham UK, every big City is the same
@@peterwilliamallen1063 dought ? … You mean doubt. Of course my view is subjective, and some may agree and some may disagree. It is good that you have pride in your own city.
@@rockyrowlands3652 Actually couldn't care too hoots about the spelling of doubt, I have seen worce spelling on this channel. But the fact I m making is the fact that Birmingham City Centre in the second world war was totaly bombed out and the rest were boring old dlpedated buildings, the City Council rebuilt most of the City Centre during the 60's,70's, 80's and 90's which resulted in a modern City Centre and if you go to any big City Cntre in the UK or most parts of the world you will find towering high rise concrete buildings, but if you went to the area of the Canals this area is a tourist area centering on the Cansls but sorry to say it is nothing like India or Pakistan the only thing Brum has that is Indin is fantastic Indian Restaraunts and the thousands who visited Birmingham in the 2022 Commonwelth Games were totaly gobsmacked on how Cosmopolitan, Modern and Friendly Birmingham is, so not sure how you came to your conclution maybe you had a run in with some one.
