The highlight of the year was surviving brain surgery. It was quite an ordeal but I'm happy that I'm good. It was a scary time. Also my oldest granddaughter and my one and only grandson both graduated from college. So proud of them.
My most memorable moment has been to wake up every day to see the dawn cracking through the trees near my house. Yesterday, December 23rd, I had my 73rd year. Being a beginner knitter, getting excited over the patterns I purchased, finding free patterns, and lastly binge watching knitting podcasts causes the endorphins to flow which brings me joy. Knitting is an exciting addition to my life. This craft is an inducer to get up early so I can learn a new technique, new stitches, abbreviations, yarns and fiber. It is a slow art, but one that keeps the brain's dendrites growing. Just getting up, looking outside, gathering my knitting brings me peace and it is a craft that all can participate. Who said you can't teach an old dog new tricks, lol! They are so wrong! Ms. Jo
The highlight of my year was getting some much needed renovations done - I’ve been waiting and planning for 20 years and it’s so exciting to see it come together - I’m falling in love with my home all over again. I also want to encourage you to knit the Oxbow cardigan - it might just be my favorite knit of all time. I knit 2 in Cascade Eco+ in Straw color (1 was for my Mom) and 1 in Brooklyn Tweed Quarry; love both versions for different reasons and they look like completely different sweaters. This is one of those knits that’s both a project and a product knit. Happy New Year!🎉
2024 was a year filled with both sadness and joy. One highlight was a knitting cruise around the Iberian Peninsula. I am also thankful for time spent with friends. However, my greatest blessing is being able to regularly spend time with my children and grandchildren. The world seems happier and kinder when you view it through the eyes of the young.
My family threw me a 60th birthday party. My family, friends from kindergarten, elementary, high school, and college came from Canada and all over the US to celebrate with me despite the dreary winter. Months later, I still think about that awesome day... my most memorable moment in 2024. Thank you
Great to see you back. Love all the projects ❤. My most memorable moment of 2024 was beating breast cancer. Looking forward to a healthy and happy 2025!
So nice to see you three. Merry Christmas to all of you. My favourite bit of 2024 was all the company I had - friends and family from near and far from April thru’ October. I’m so blessed to have such wonderful friends and family.
Such a renewed pleasure every time I see your podcast appear on my TH-cam list… Thank you for another great year of sharing! As for my 2024 highlight, it was definitely the fact that I just retired from being an art highschool teacher for more than thirty years. I can’t believe that I am at that stage of my life, and I enjoy it tremendously! Best wishes for 2025!❤🧶🥂
We had nine members of my family over from England this year for a summer holiday, it as wonderful we had such a fun time, I miss them. Thank you for a lovely podcast ladies! 😊
My memorable time in 2024 was to visit with each of my children who live in different parts of Canada and not near me. It is wonderful to spend time with family! It is also fantastic to watch your podcast and connect with other knitters. Have a great holiday and time with the special people in your life.
Most memorable moment of 2024 was our son moving out on his own to start on his own life adventure as an adult. We miss him dearly but couldn’t be more proud of him.😢 Love your podcast❤ Thanks for so much knitting inspiration!!
I will be looking forward to a better year as well. It feels like I spent most of 2024 being exhausted. Most memorable moments was seeing the Northern Lights. They were truly spellbinding.
Honestly a very hard year. Had to work a bit harder to find good memories. But my son and daughter both starting Uni in their dream programs was the highlight for sure. So happy to see you girls!!! Love all the beautiful projects.
I have been subscribed since the beginning. In 2024 my sister and I went to Knit City in Toronto, definitely a highlight of our 2024. Would love to meet you all at a knitting event. Happy to see you back regularly. Wishing you all the best in the new year. Connie from Windsor.❤️🇨🇦❤️
One memorable moment was when my son started high school. I realized all of a sudden that he will be gone for college within a few years! Thank you for everything you do for the knitting community.
It’s great to see you all! My most memorable thing for this year just happened yesterday, 12/20/24. I’m a retired state employee who is subject to WEP which virtually cuts into Social Security benefits. It was repealed 12/20/24 so now retired government workers can get their full Social Security benefits. Merry Christmas to all🎄🎄🎄
Most memorable...retirement from my job after 36 years! I'm looking for another less stressful job now, but I've certainly got a lot of crafting done in the meantime. Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas.
2023 and 2024 has been a rough time for my family too. The highlight was finally finding a good home for my mother near me and my sister completing her chemo treatments. We are all looking forward to a happy and HEALTHY New Year. Wishing you all the best for 2025🎉
My husband and I both retired in 2024. We took our kitty and camper and traveled 12K miles around parts of the US that we had not visited before. We are looking forward to doing a long trip in the Canadian Maritimes in 2025. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
My highlight this year has been truly slowing down and enjoying my crafts, friends and family.. especially my son ( junior in high school) that I am trying to truly enjoy the time I have left before he goes to college. ❤❤❤
I did my first “knit along” , kept on target and it was my first blanket, and fingering weight. I feel so accomplished 🧶🎄💕🥰🥳 thank you ladies Happiest of Holidays to you and yours ! See you in the New Year 🥳🥳🥳🥳🤗
My highlight of 2024 was going to my first knitting retreat. Spending three days with a lovely group of knitters, having the time to knit and chat and meet people I only knew from a Facebook group. It was a much needed break from “real life” and so relaxing and refreshing
Best memory of 2024 is hands down vacationing with my kids and grandkids. Seeing things through the eyes of a 2 year old made the vacation that much more special!
Thank you again for a lovely episode. My most memorable thing for 2024, was a family and friend gathering for my husband's an my 50th wedding anniversary. We celebrated it at our home on our deck with 20 close family and friends.

Our youngest daughter got married on Thanksgiving weekend. It was wonderful sharing the day with all our family and friends and seeing her dreams come true.
2024 can shove it!! Can't wait for it to be over quite frankly! Missed you guys at Woolstock in Paris this year and miss you when you're not on youtube. When I see a video pop up with the three of you, you're the first one I watch! Most memorable moment in 2024, the last day my mom and I walked out of the chemo clinic after 18 weeks giving her the go-ahead to start living life again! It's neat that your three cowls are exactly the same yet with your yarn choice they're totally different! Kerri's has an 80's ski bunny vibe! June my sheepadoodle has never tried to eat my projects but we had friends over to play cards and she snuck my friend's favourite cowl out to the couch and chewed the ribbing and into the body of the cowl! It's so hard to get mad at them but for a puppy that I've never had to correct like that, she knew she was in trouble!
Thanks for the podcast - I always look forward to seeing you ladies and all your beautiful projects. I loved all the hats!! My most memorable moment of 2024 was our trip to Ireland and Scotland in September. I highly recommend it. haha - Thanks again - I hope you had a very Merry Xmas and 'see' you in 2025!
The year has flown by. 4 granddaughters have kept me busy but best of all my sister has fought fungal meningitis over the last 2 years and is now getting better - hopefully walking by spring and feeling so much better. 💕💕
My husband and I moved close to our 4 children and all the grandchildren after living 650 miles away for 20 years. It’s been amazing. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!,,
We spent a week in Florida with our kids and my daughters friend and sons girlfriend last summer. We had a great week with mild temperatures, pretty sunrises and sunsets and crazy rain showers where the dragon flies came out after. Beautiful
My most memorable event was going to see my best friend who moved away in 2022. I spent 6 days with her in Kansas. It was so good to reconnect in person. Love your knits and glad you are back.
Wonderful to catch up with you ladies and see all the beautiful items you have been knitting 😊 My most memorable part of 2024 is learning to knit stranded colourwork I am knitting a cowl and already thinking of knitting a matching hat.
My husband and I went on a much-needed vacation, a river cruise starting in Amsterdam. Including the tulips in and around Amsterdam, as well as the windmills, we had a lovely time, especially in Nijmegen. I, of course, got to do a knitting bucket list check off by going to Stephen and Penelope. Sending all of you good wishes for a healthy and happy new year! Cheers!
Your MKAL shawls are all gorgeous! So different but all so pretty! Patti your textured yoke sweater is beautiful! Your knitting looks perfect! Merry Christmas to you all!
Looking forward to more podcasts this upcoming year! No matter how often you podcast, your time is appreciated and it’s always good catch up with you and your knits. A moment for me this past year has been helping my mom downsize - it’s been a lot of work but I’m glad she’s able to move on into a better situation for herself.
So great to see you ladies. Your colourwork cowls are so beautiful, very festive. One of the Highlights this year was a trip I took with my brother. We went on a Safari to Africa and it was stunning, once in a lifetime experience. Have a wonderful Christmas and all the best for the New Year 😊
My memorable event was having our son move back to our hometown after being away for more than twenty years. This means our grandchildren are now living here!!!

Good to see you, happy holidays 🎄 A year is a long time, lots of highlights fortunately. Found out grandchild 4 will be coming in spring, all of my family are well and thriving, my market venture expanded and I am still having a blast, best of all I guess is we are all here to meet 2025❤
Lots of good little things this year. One yarny thing is I purchased acid dyes and dyed my own Advent calendar! And I honestly didn't remember all the colors I dyed, so it was a surprise every day.
My most memorable moment of 2024 was the birth of our first grandchild, Jack, on 26th January 2024 at 19:14 hrs weighing 8.5llbs! I love being a a grandparent as does my husband! Merry Christmas ladies and have a great 2025!
I’m always so happy to see a podcast pop up from you! Good to see you, happy holidays 🎄 A year is a long time, lots of highlights fortunately. Found out grandchild 4 will be coming in spring, all of my family are well and thriving, my market venture expanded and I am still having a blast, best of all I guess is we are all here to meet 2025❤ Sorry, I did participate in the beginning of the year of the WIPs but…I did 11 markets this year so posting photos seemed to fall to the wayside as there was always something else to knit lol. My weakness is social posting I guess. Could be worse, I could have 50 WIPs 😂
Thanks for a great episode. So many wonderful FOs. Highlight of 2024 for me was visiting my kids in LA and spending time with my grandson for his 6th birthday.
Glad to see your podcast again! Anytime you post gives me more ideas to knit. My most memorable 2024 was a cruise thru the Panama Canal. I got to check another item off my list.
Great podcast! I just stumble upon and have really enjoyed all your knits. I’ve had a very uneventful year…..which is unusual….so I guess that’s pretty good highlight.???? I’m looking forward to 2025! 🎉
I took two amazing trips this year that were each a highlight - one to Scotland with my sister and we had an amazing time. The second was to Egypt and it was definitely once in a lifetime trip!
