This was my first Tim Rogers video. When I saw it was 20 minutes long, I thought "Who does this guy think he is, demanding this much of my time?" and I wanted to hate him for it, but the video was too good and I started seeking out more of his videos. Now after watching the hour long Death Stranding review, I'm disappointed that the review isn't longer.
This is a perfect review, especially when youtube recommends the ign review clocking in at a lengthy 2 minutes 45 seconds. I was not ready for this deep dive into this man's video game career or the overview of the entire genre. Pleasantly surprise

I can relate with the hypnotic sound effects comment. After a while all those sounds just meld into a weird choir that sucks you in. Strange. Also, Tim, please never change.
I think it's time for Kotaku to start another podcast solely focused on Tim Roger's weird gaming-related(or not) anecdotes. Or a regular segment on splitscreen maybe?
I've heard about the memory leak that happens when the game is left on for long periods of time and I have a question about it. I'm getting the Switch version for my birthday on Sunday for my Switch Lite, which I got for Christmas. I was wondering just how long you have to play for this memory leak issue to happen. I normally keep a game running until I swap cartridges or before I go to bed at night. Before bed I save, turn whatever game I am currently playing off, and then put the system into sleep mode. So if the memory leak doesn't happen if the game is left on for one single day then I'm good since I always turn games off before going to sleep at night. So just how long do you have to have the game on for this to start happening?
it'd have to be a machine that is out of commission. manufacturers are very secretive and parlors will ban you for trying to photograph machines. the only time you're allowed to look at the pegs and levers is while playing. they take it very seriously. it's a fascinating topic.

Dragon quest heroes made me warm up to Mosou games though I have not played Dragon Quest games before. The tactics were addictive and gameplay fast n fun !

I HAD to buy this game again despite all the time I put into it on the Wii U version. Though I dread doing any map with Agitha and Lana with summoning gate. LOL
