Actually, I disagree. Utahraptors or any small carnivores are capable of taking one down without help. The utah went for the neck which weakened the parasaur then snapping at the vains of the neck 2 times. It's hard to doubt you need help with that.
Everyone talks about small carnivores doing it solo but it’s also ridiculous that a Rex lifts the parasaur off the ground. Parasaurolophus would weigh several tons!
im thinking they should have a kill failed mechanic based on the skill level of the predator like if the raptor would have jumped and missed and fell off or an apex predator looses his grip on falls down
@@domino5525 yeah and the skills get better by actual combat experience so the dinos would have rpg like level ups but skill points automatically and are randomly placed

i find the kills for hadrosaurs to be very weird, the fact that a dinosaur as small as velociraptor, about the size of a human, can take down a parasaurolophus, larger than a elephant ( i think) is just ludicrous, counting in that we see it use its Jaws and not its sickle claw, not to forget that it somehow falls, and the raptor clip's, cat forget that it makes a VERY LUCKY land on the neck, near its crest, meaning its right in the front of a counter attack, we even see it clip through the crest, so the raptor would be dead. This is just using rapts as an example also, there are other kill animations that are basically the same but better or worse, heck, the dilophosaur ould SPIT rather than tackle.
Yeah it makes no sense, like why can't hadrosaurs run from carnivores and defend against or kill small carnivores. This game should also include pack hunting to bring down larger prey
This game is pretty dead,what keeps it alive imo is the park managmement ,building biomes and so on,but about dinosaurus,no update,and yeah the animations are destroying the game ,when u thinkin that in jpog it was all based some more random where the carnivores were gettin exausted ,or not able to chase the erbivores that had a chance of escaping ,the AI seemd more free and realistic,but yeah what can you ask from Frontier,if this game wouldnt have the very good park management it could ve been ded long time ago

When it comes small predators attacking larger prey they need the whole pack to bring down. I Think they got lazy with that part

I disagree. The small carnivores pounced at the neck which probably explains why the parasaurs fell over in pain and then taken out.
