Oh thank you so much, your comment made me so happy. To answer your question, I lasso selected the entire silhouette of the character to create a shadow of the character on the background. I created a new layer, filled the selected part with a dark color, moved the layer to the side, and then blurred it. Is this the part you were wondering about? I hope it was helpful.😊
@@lakeandmonster I was referring to the very process of highlighting the border of the drawing. Have you used any keyboard shortcuts to highlight the perimeter of the drawing, or have you circled the drawing with the lasso tool manually? (in 4:39 you have selected all the layers, and in 4:40 the entire perimeter of the drawing has already been selected - it's hard to notice, but I'm watching your videos in slow motion at 0.25 hehe)
