I followed your steps, but i still get only the excel spreadsheet in the layers, although i'm using the good coordinate system. Do you have any tips?

I cannot get points to show up in my project table. I uploaded the csv file and saved it as a shape file, but still no showing of my points. Is there a way to trouble shoot this?

Thank you! I am having an issue, however: The longitude points don't seem to be working, with the coordinate points appearing in a line (East to West). The Latitude seems to be correct, though, which is odd. Do you have a suggestion for me?! Thank you.

What is the M field for? Z is elevation, X and Y are long and lat or eastying and northing, however I don't know what the M field is for when importing text delimited data. Can anyone help?

I struggled a bit to figure it out
Apparently it can be both a distance value for linear referencing (chainage of a road for instance) or just an addtional attribute besides xyz for every vertex
