Im one of those people that fell in love with Fear while the main show was in decline through S7-8. I wanted Troy's character to be gay - pining after Nick who wasn't romantically interested, but enjoyed how Troy found his proclivity for danger and risk-taking intoxicating. There was so much potential for Fear once season 3 established itself, and Scott Gimple squandered it all, just like he squandered the potential of the main show. Morgan would have been the perfect death for season 8, and instead they killed Carl. Made no sense. Then he dick rode Lennie James over to Fear and ruined both shows.
I think Sharman is doing a great job of portraying the character of Troy. Based off of what I've seen him in, all the characters he's played are rather dynamic and seem like different people. Because I know some actors tend to play the same type of characters and it just becomes part of the actor.
After this season they changed the writers, the ones writing for FTWD were sent to write for the original, while the ones in TWD went to FTWD. Which explains a lot.

But than I watched the Double Premiere (because I was bored ;) and it was so damn good, I could't believe it. ;D Some shows need a second chance...or a third i guess...or a Daniel Sharman to make it watch worthy ;D
