At least I can't recall seeing as many threads on the various forums talking about any issues like they do now. Still planning on buying a new STI this year though. Don't like the idea of buying a used sports car, and especially not a STI. While I'm sure there are nice examples out there, I have neither the time or inclination to try hunting one down. Wish I could have afforded an '04 or'05 STI when they were first out, but I did buy a 2006 Evo IX MR when it came out. That was fun! 😎

The only thing why your car holds 400WHP reliable is because of e85. In addition if you have the original 04-05 shortblock those pistons don't have ring-land failures.
Hey Eddie you know you can fix the squeaky noise of the seat belts there’s videos of how to remove the noise by cutting some of the inside lining and completely remove the squeaking, I did that to my blob eye cs it was just annoying

mine sat for 7 years without a start. and last summer fired it up. took fule and oil and rad out it started right up. Keep it man!!!
