I have concerns about any inference that the bruising/redness in these photos has been added in the Mac app ‘Photos’ because it does not and never has had the ability to apply or modify colour in select areas like the way one can do with the paint brush in Photoshop or GIMP.
I think after the trial verdict she needs to get ready her jail kit too 😂
This Metadata Expert looks so nice and sincere. I felt so bad for him, because he had to deal with Amber's very rude and childish lawyer!

It's not a claim, it's a FACT. Data does not lie. Even if they were saved through the software, they were compressed, it's not the same, it has been modified. Even though we know the lighting has been edited in many pictures.
It’s not necessarily compressed tho… if you take a pic with your phone and transfer it to Photos on you Mac the file stays the same…

@@admiralmuhamad3109 the size difference could be due to multiple transfers (mails, messages app, etc) + she very probably got rid of her old phones over the years and saved her photos elsewhere (like we all do) the photos do look the same, also saying that because it’s written « Photos 3.0 » it’s edited doesn’t make sense, Photos isnt only use to edit photos, in fact it’s mainly use to store and browse your photos only, referring to the software as a « Photo editor » seems a bit oriented here, i’m not on Amber side but i found that specific testimony a bit far-fetch, why not simply comparing the actual pictures and see the differences visually if there are some ? (And btw iphones take pngs not jpgs so he should have started there)…

@@R0bski at least this ruled out the possibility that the iPhone 6 AH used to take the photos in 2016 somehow processed the photos by Photos3.0 without AH knowing it. This just further raised the possibility that AH was lying on court when she said the photos were not edited.

People like her compulsively do what's best for them in the moment, whatever is necessary to make them look like a victim, victor, achiever, do-gooder etc. They make a lot of mistakes and lack foresight. We are fortunate to live in an age where these manipulation tactics are so traceable. But people like this have always existed and they've usually gotten away with their manipulation. This is changing.

I agree, my Daughter is BPD, very beautiful and convincing, rarely questioned. She’s done many of the same things and always the victim. She has ruined so many lives and leaves destruction in her path. Her therapist told her she was the common denominator in every story of chaos.

The case isn't closed because it's a civil court jury case, and both sides are allowed to argue everything they need/want to argue. They present all that they want, and then the jury decides if anyone owes any money.

@NOSTRADAMUS No. That's not what eventuated. After Heards lawyer objected to an answer the judge overruled. But the witness had forgotten the question and asked the lawyer to repeat it. Heards Lawyer, after FINALLY understanding the SNAFU, tried to casually say 'nevermind, it wasn't important'. However the judge had the court typist re-read the question and the witness was devastating.

He does not claim that the photos were edited. He proves in court with physical evidence that the photos were edited. The photos were edited. That's just a fact. Got nothing to do with what anyone claims. Just hard facts .

@@jenicdarling9425 From my understanding the LA Sheriff department is looking into perjury charges. Johnny's lawyer Mr. Walton took a whole file down to the LA police department, it was then turned over to the Sheriff Dept. But these things also take time. Especially when they want to make sure they get their guy... Or in this case "girl".
And Australia is definitely looking to get her. She could get up to 14 years in Australia just for the purgery alone. PLUS in light of new evidence from the UK trial and anything from this trial about the dogs, they may have other chargers for her. But I will say I don't know much on Australian Law, can only speculate on what I have seen so far. I'm sure Australia will take their time, cross all their T's and dot all their I's, they take this very serious and she publicly mocked them after they forced her to publicly apologize to the Australian government and above all people. Then turn around and names her new dog publicly after the Australian PM (I believe that's his title, I very well could have his title incorrect though). She offended a whole country and it's people because she just HAS to be better than everyone else. And she can't even spell phone! F-O-N-E she said from the video mocking Johnny.
There's also talk of an appeal going through on the UK case, especially now that it's so well known it was biased from the beginning with a judge that should have recused himself from the case.
Anyway, I don't see her coming out of this with no repercussions at all. If not many. Other than public opinion, in which she's done when it comes to that. She will be lucky to even get a voice acting gig after this.
I wish he would have used the word "manipulated" every time he talked about how photos were rendered, compiled, etc. It reinforces the fact that Ms. H. is a MANIPULATOR.
His entire testimony rested on the fact that the photos couldn't be proven or denied as truthful. Saying "it was direct manipulation" let's the AH's team tear down his testimony ("WHO manipulated these photos? HOW do you know she manipulated them herself? So you don't actually know the motive behind photo manipulation, you can only speculate"
Saying "these photos can't be verified" is a bombshell in of itself.

If she actually faked these photos and claimed them as evidence, she could be in very big trouble if she loses the case.
even if she won the case which seems unlikely already,there would be a case with all of the lies already proben to be lies,tampered evidence and more amber would be on trial for that after if not loosing this case.

I don't know if he's saying that - he is just saying they have been through an editor. So she could have changed color levels or brightness etc. Doesn;t mean she changed the bruising, in fact I doubt very much she did that. It would be obvious

It's a civil defamation case it's not criminal or federal. Is what a lawyer says to as why she won't go to jail for it.
AH's team seemed so happy, smiling and laughing, when the expert was not allowed to talk about saturation of the photos... that in itself tells the jury that they are trying to cover up the fact that the saturation was altered in many of her photos. If AH's team truely had nothing to hide when it came to photo manipulation, they would have allowed the expert to talk about all the alterations in detail.
Everytime she's being exposed directly about her obvious lies she starts drawing and writing vigorously. I'd love to play poker against her.

The metadata on Heard's injury photographs doesn't show the original Apple iOS device data they were taken on, they show the photo editing app metadata. BINGO Thanks Mr Numeister.

As someone with limited knowledge on the subject (layman but better than my family) is it really that damning? She used a photo editor, but potentially she could have cropped the image or made it more visible. Don’t get me wrong, I think she’s guilty-but shouldn’t there be more information about how the photo was edited? Would he be able to restore the photo to the original imported from her phone? I doubt she made any massive changes using the editor when she can convincingly imitate a bruise with makeup. Sure she could mess with the color, but that wouldn’t make a bruise appear on her arm without photoshopping it right?
@@Amaranthyne It's damning because the use of an external program creates the very real potential the photos have been manipulated in some way and as such means they cannot be classed as authentic originals, and without authentic originals you cannot verify the authenticity of these photos. This is compounded by evidence that manipulation has taken place with at least one example of two visually different versions of the exact same photo proving at least one of them has been edited, and if one has been edited the authenticity of the rest is naturally called into question. This evidence is also in direct contradiction of her claims that those two versions of the same photo were taken at different times with different lighting, this shows she was being deceitful about them in her testimony and calls into the question the veracity of the rest of her claims. It's also impossible to restore these to their original state as the image format only saves the current state, and without the authentic originals it's impossible to determine exactly the extent of any (if any) changes may have been made. To get the authentic originals they need access to the phone on which they're stored on, but if her team had them they would have entered them into evidence in the first place rather than these potentially edited copies.
So basically it's damning because they cannot verify the authenticity that the photos haven't been edited with evidence of at least one having been, so their role in proving her claims is much more limited. And she was caught being deceitful in her claims about said edited photo which hurts the believability of the rest of her testimony.
I KNEW when they gave this man a long build up to talk about his incredible career and skills, there would be a 💣 dropped. Thank you for proving what we all knew. What an interesting man and life too, much respect to him and his company's services

He cannot know intent, no one can in court, (lawyers can Argue it but not witnesses), so within thr full confinement of the law he painstakingly went through all the tests he ran and subtly but very clearly indicated all the parts that indicated these photos had been heavily altered and ran through multiple channels to further alter them. Its very important that the team did not use originals, this is not standard for photographs or videos in any case of any type, in any country. I've been involved in low level employment cases in ireland, where its just simpler disputes and we have to use and submit originals of everything. The tampering, considering its a court setting, is extremely serious. He did far more than say it ran through an editor, although that alone would be sufficient to show they did not follow dye process with the provision of evidence. And remember these photos were all over the media to display him as an abuser and those were her claims, the fact she did this and was friends with photographers who have testified, is very bad for her side in terms of credibility. And that's taking his testimony only as a snippet in terms of it being run through an editor.
This is really bad for Amber. How terrible! How can her lawyers defence the defenceless? She is making it bad for all DV real victims. Sad! How can she kept on writing while hard evidence is being outlined by this expert. Looking at her makes me sick.
Unfortunately, her lawyers aren't there to prove she lied. They just need one thing to stick with just one juror to be called into question. It's not about proving truth at all

That's the problem with people who lie in groups - if they co-ordinate and stick together, they outnumber any other witnesses present.

Heartbreaking Amber did not give the Children’s Hospital the entire amount like she promised. She KNEW they were sick & dying. She KNEW how badly the hospital needed money! Sadly many of those children didn’t make it. Johnny constantly gives donations to Children’s Hospitals. He doesn’t make his name public when he donates because he’s not trying to make it all about him.

Its beyond that, because if I'm editing on my computer, it asks me if I want to save the original or replace, or default save as a copy. Same if I do it through my phone. So if you submit photos that went through an editor (even not doing anything) and say you don't edit it would be the same as using an editor. You dont accidentally do that, its all sought out and intentionally opened and saved and then submitted as "un-tampered" evidence.

The iPhone app alters skin tone enough as it is without photoshop. Mac is pretty good at hiding alot of user information which is good in her case

I was saying that exact thing when I first saw it, even if you snap two pictures in a row with a different light turned on, they will not look exactly identical. These ones did. Even if the rest of the pictures were only stored and not edited, we know 100% that one photo was edited, and Amber outright lied about it.

I'm not a body language expert, probably not even particularly good at reading body language so maybe I'm just reading AH wrong, but..
This expert is explaining, very clearly (even I can understand what he's talking about), that her photos are basically false. She's making lots of notes, doesn't seem to push them towards her legal team, which is odd to me. But it's her face and body that really confuses me, she looks bored and quite relaxed! If someone was telling a court that my photos, the ones supposedly showing injuries, were fake, I'm pretty sure I'd be a lot more animated, my face would be showing anger and disagreement, I'd be sitting up, not lounging back and I'd want my lawyers to read what I was writing then and there!!

Haven't watched the whole trial but I noticed something that I really hope Depp's team brought up. In almost all cases of a right handed person striking someone, the bruise will alway's be on the left side of the face, not the right like hers.

Yeah a few people have mentioned this outside of court, but it hasn't come up yet. The fact he has many rings on all the time has, and the photos arnt consistant with the beatings she describes considering the damage the rings would do, and all the pictures of her clean faced the next day.
However it may still be brought up in closing, it risks getting shut down as facts not in evidence, but as it's not being offered as fact, it might be ok, i'm not a legal expert or anything (even though after watching the entirety of this case I feel like I could be one now lol)
