@@TheChainChasers Because most people would realize that Scrambler does more harm than good within the first session of using it, let alone 15 years later. I don't think anyone who hasn't played MW2 is picking it up in 2024, so he's probably not a new player. Hell, even my dumbass 10 year old self managed to put two and two together and not touch it when I started playing. If he wants to use it, power to him, but it's going to fuck him over more often than not.

The tar with a silencer was always my favorite. It has good damage, speed, and mag size. The only downside was a bit more recoil.
Try without silencer might be placebo for me but it shoots like a laser so i prefer the extended mag or heartbeat
try UMP45 with silencer or extended mags

95% of the time i didnt use any red dot or scope or whatever in my guns. Even now a days. I find it a waste of an attachment. For the scar in og mw2 i usually do extend mag or silencer
never thought about not using attachments for it 😮
ACR really did overshadow most assault rifles but Scar and Famas were my preference over the ACR and both had better stats

The scar has similar recoil as the acr and similar time-to-kill as the tar. This gun is the GOAT.

One of my favorite guns in cod history to use with a silencer. This gun in MW2, MW3, and BO2 was my top killing weapon.

Didn't you have to get like 40 penetration kills to get extended mags? Probably why I didn't use it as much when I was a kid lol
Fond memories of camping while hard scoping behind windows trying to get penetration kills with the Intervention FMJ to unlock the extended mags 😂
I miss but also dont miss those challenges to unlock attachments. Imagine having to do that for the few hundreds of attachments now a days
SCAR-H in real life is not the same in og MW2 nonetheless it’s fun to shoot. It’s so expensive now at over $4k here in Texas.

Scar was my baby back in the day. I never even entertained the ACR, too many bullets needed on target to put them down
Scar is a great pew pew but I had a soft spot for the suppressed Tar 21.
After nearly fifteen years of playing and watching footage of mw2, I just noticed the knights armament rear sight on the scar is backwards.
I have like 6k hours and I'm just noticing this 😅

The KAC BUIS (back up iron sight) should fold back towards the buttstock when the red dot is mounted and the windage adjustment knob should be on the right hand side just like any other AR iron sight, not the left like pictured in-game.
I have that same knights armament BUIS on one of my AR-15’s and if you had it mounted backwards all your adjustments would made zeroing your rifle impossible because every adjustments would be backwards.
If you saw the recent picture of the Navy captain with the backwards trijicon vcog on his M4, this revelation had that same vibe.
Been playing mw2 on pc for the past week, somehow it’s less hacked then bo2. Only hackers I find are ones that change the game mod and map

I loved the scar with silencer or the tuber lol. It was my 2nd favorite gun ACR is number 1 but I only ever played hardcore except for mw3 that I only played core. Too many campers in mw3 hardcore.
The ACR was everybodys favourite… the scar packed more of a punch just not enough bullets

In real life, rhe SCAR-H is chambered in 7.62x51. A cartridge with a bullet 3x as heavy going 80% as fast as what all the other “assault rifles” in the game, which are chambered in 5.56x45 NATO other than the AKM (AK-47) as another commenter reminded me is in this game. Same with the FAL. That gives you better range and lethality.
The AK-47 is chambered in 7.62x39. (To be fair, the AK in MW2 is more of a weird mishmash of an AKM and an AK-103, but they all fire 7.62x39)
@@QuarrelsomeLocalOaf agreed, and if we are going to nerd out, it’s an AKM, not an AK-47 🤓. Unless it’s an AK-74 or it’s derivatives in Black Ops 1 for example,
chambered in 5.45x39.
I own firearms in all the above calibers other than 5.45x39 and reload my own ammunition, lots of fun.

Iirc in MW2, Scar and TAR were considered the best assault rifles, it’s in MW3 that ACR was the best.

I think that if you are going for a Nuke with the SCAR-H (or any gun with a fast TTK or the M21 EBR) try using Cold-blooded instead of Stopping Power.
I think it needs to be said that you are simply one of the greatest players this game has ever seen. Sure, you aren’t spinning 720 noscope headshots off ledges and landing cross-map throwing knives, but it’s your vast gamesense and ability to adapt that I don’t think anyone else quite has. Your knowledge with so many loadouts and ability to account for as many factors as possible to push a nuke every other game (even with non-meta guns) is honestly crazy bro. Respect

The only draw back to the scar was the smaller mag size. On every ar I only ran suppressor or red dot. My list would look like

4. Acr.
5. M4a1

For me the best weapon in all shooting games. In fact mw2 is the game that has the most fun arsenal. I remember that I had friends who were experts in different weapons, one played the m16, another the tar21, another the famas. A time when weapons had personality and it was really fun to play with each one of them, except, I think everyone who played mw2 will agree, f2000 which was horrible. The weapons in shooting games nowadays to me all look like an f2000, a shame

The SCAR will always be my favorite weapon in any COD: high damage, iconic shape, perfect iron sights. Seriously, it is practically heresy to put any sort of optic on the gun, the irons are all you ever need.

I just bought game pass and tried to fire up mw2 on the Xbox one… I got “not allowed to play online” message? Anyone else get this? I’ve heard it’s been pretty common. Was just playing about 16 months ago and no problem
Normal game pass dont give u access to online playing. You need to buy game pass ultimate or game pass core. Core is cheaper but ultimate gives u access to all games on pc and xbox
