What I love most about the BCU is that Andrew uplifts everyone around him. It's a rare quality and it shows great strength of character that other's strength doesn't make him insecure, but that he is proud of working with his BCU colleagues and truly appreciates them.

Poor Kendall spent half the episode looking so flustered. I loved every time she explained what she meant by what she was saying, she's phenomenal at breaking things down.
You could tell she was nervous being the star at the beginning, but after everything was out of the oven, Kendall really opened up! I am really excited to see what else we get from her!!!
I feel that Kendall's derpiness and her very simple explanations are much more helpful to those who are new and want to pick up cooking since newbies get to relate to that derpiness. I have never done anything more complicated than a lasagna and yet after seeing this it makes me want to start making croissants.
Kendall just seems like a sweet, pleasant person to be around. Plus we all know she's the culinary brains behind the BCU. Can't wait to see many more episodes in this series!

The relationship between babish and Kendall is really beautiful, I feel like alot of men don't treat women working under them in such a respectful and kind way! He makes room for her experience and acknowledges her knowledge that he doesn't have. This is really wonderful! 💕
The way I was taught in culinary school, when proofing croissants, you want to bake them when you see the layers on the edges beginning to separate on their own. They will feel incredibly delicate and tender to the touch

It took me an embarrassing amount of time to realize that FundaKendalls is an amalgamation of fundamentals and Kendall. I loved seeing Kendall front on center and starting out with something that is difficult to make (so I've heard).

I've always loved Kendall's vibe. She reminds me of my kindergarden teacher: she was super sweet and basically fell in love with you if you thanked her for teaching you something.
Babish I appreciate these longer episodes. Not all of them have to be like this but I definitely like watching food tv that is centered around one recipe instead of a talking head trying 20 different watered down things in an episode.

i mean this in the best way possible, Kendall turns into such a cute little gremlin when shes happy or excited. She genuinely has such a kind and happy energy that adds so much to the BCU. Im happy shes getting some of her own share of the spotlight
Those mini cups made from the scraps and dusted with sugar reminds me of how I make koign amman. I make a batch of croissant dough, then on the final roll out I use sugar instead of flour so it's impregnated with the sugar. I then spray and liberally dust with sugar a muffin tin. I cut the rolled out dough into squares, pinch the four corners together, then stuff it in the muffin tin (and pinch a bit more) and bake. You then end up with this ultra gooey, rich, delicious treat.
It's about time that Kendall gets to play a larger part, making this not only the Babish Culinary Universe, but the EXTENDED universe. I guess sometimes superheroes don't wear capes, but don aprons instead! Loved the episode!
