U can activate more than one ritual in the directed mode so you can also increase the amount of zombie spawning you can activate the fire ritual and the raven ritual on top of the lion ritual to increase more zombie kills

How so? I do 3 of the ritual items at a time and combine it with the oil trap glitch and can get 150-200 kills per trap activation. Gets a gun to gold in like 15 min once you get past like round 25.
Easier and better to do on citadel not in directed mode. All you got to do is wait til round 6 for a bug round make sure pap is open talk to Kraft and do the lion sword puzzle afterwords do the light ritual and run downstairs near quick revive. Try not to kill the last bug and you’ll have infinite zombie spawns
For those like me. That aren't doing Opal on a certain category. On round 10, you can just do the cannon and get the horshoe, Infinity ite zombies and you can just camp the left side of the canon near elemental pop No swords needed if you don't care about the doppleghast
Okay so i totally cheesed my gold camos by using molotovs in the oil trap. It counts towards whatever gun you have in your hand at that time. Sure i usually kill a few zombies while killing one ghast but its so easy with picky eater. I think i did 10 guns in a few hours

Pro-tip: since you’ll be likely be hitting directed mode for the opal camo challenges, get all the ARs and SMGs gold first. Then you can grind headshots while you do the opal challenges on your largest weapon categories. You’ll get almost all the gold and opal challenges done at the same time

Another way to get quick special eliminatons is to open the box with the Doppelghast, kill it, save and quit. When you reload the box will be locked up again
icitadel and u do the spells u can do all 4 at the same time while being in directed mode so u get extra extra zombies so that waiting for round is really affecting you
I discovered this inadvertently yesterday just trying to do directed mode in Citadelle. Once you set up all the rituals they just keep spawning no matter what and you can just obliterate everything. I got a few camos yesterday in no time.
Brother this has been discovered almost a month ago. A few days after the map came out. This camo grind is so long for no reason, Dark matter was easy as hell. Everyone has been exploiting since launch. I’ve been doing this for a while but it does come with risk of dying because we had no directed mode until now. I got to round 59 and it was just too painful to swap to another weapon and keep going. In normal mode I’d rather do the Castle Gate trap with molotov. The fire procs on the oil spills and when a zombie hits it the fire covered area procs your currently held weapon damage and critically kills them aka use trap to kill them and get free headshots. I finished my snipers with this and did my melee Afterlife camos. Use this before they patch it, melee afterlife camo is fucking annoying.

You can also use this to farm opal even quicker as on Citadel the parasites turn zombies into Doppelghasts. This is because when you pick up the light sword it spawns four parasites, if you kill them to pass round you will guarantee 4 parasites every round that over time will turn zombies into doppelghasts. This guarantees at least 4 doppelghasts per round, excluding the doppelghasts that naturally spwan.
@ makes sense, although I wished they tuned down the Warzone camo challenges at least for shottys and such. Its so annoying trying to get kills with a shotgun or even melee.
I did my camos normally, tbh bro it did take a while, I was getting 2k headshots over 2x round 31 games, roughly 90-120 mins per gun. Opal I did while getting the headshots on other guns. For elites it helped a lot playing with friends and taking care of the amalgams on terminus. I found if you work on the calling cards at the same time you end up utilising your time really well & it’s actually more fun than doing directed for it
I'm sure someone else caugh this before me but you don't have to do all of the steps before you can do the infinite spawn strat. All you have to do is turn on the power and then pick up the charm in the alchemist's/study room (the maniquin's broach). Then when you go to activate the ritual to unlock the light incantation, leave the room and zombies will infinitely spawn. Given it's not at round 12, but if you are just looking for headshots this is much faster to setup and at a lower round.
Yeah you can do the infinite spawn trick on any round however I would higly recommend doing it at 12 to work on Opal at the same time. Doing Opal after you finish all the headshots makes the grind take a lot longer.
I don’t think they ever publicly announced it, but they 100% reverted these changes. I’ve been running my Terminus round 12 guided mode save for camo grinding for at least a month now and when that update came out I could definitely feel the massive time between rounds, and even once the rounds were going the spawns were way slower and more spread out, but now I’m playing that same save and everything plays like it used to before they nerfed it, so they must have gone back on the changes
So unnecessary. Who was it hurting? Nobody. They did it because people are able to complete nebula faster. They should have thought about that before implementing directed mode in the first place..
By the way, you can use the valve in part of the Easter egg and if you build up pressure it will spawn more zombies in the and you can just constantly train them and don't complete it. Just go outside. Wait for a little second before it goes down to zero. (You can let it go down to zero) And then start building up pressure again and then you have zombies
You don't even need to go outside. Just start the hand crank, and don't go back to it. Zombies will keep spawning. Eventually the manglers may slow down, if you go outside and come back for that they'll start spawning again.
Working hard on thw camo grind and learned that with the new additions of weapons. There is enough to bypass some of the categories that are not fun to do like shoguns/ sniper rifles/pistols etc. It really helps ease the grind

If you get the claw and start the dark incantation ritual, you can have 2 infinite spawn points going at the same time. If you use the oil trap with molotovs, you can get crit kills, or just kills period for single shot weapons insanely fast too, including launchers & melee
you can..I’ve had 3 going but it was counterproductive with getting opal on a weapon at the same time. I was getting more headshots, but the round zombies were getting to jumbled within the ritual zombies, & by the time I found & killed them, the round was twice as long. It’s best to just do the rituals that are inside and leave outside for the round zombie spawns. The ritual ones will only come from the direction of the castle, but if you need to turn the round, you can run to the statue courtyard and the round zombies will spawn down there with you. I hope that makes sense
@@wheniask5403when you leave the castle, go down the steps, and go either left or right(there’s one on each side), and right before you go down the steps that take you to the bottom of the map, you’ll see a red switch that says “oil trap”…once you start it, stand on the steps side, throw a Molotov, and it will burn for the duration that the oil is falling. Each zombie kill will be a critical kill for whatever weapon you’re currently holding
Directed Mode for Citadelle is super buggy!!! It don't even tell you to grab the horseshoe and other artifacts for the light beam step so when you get there if your unfamiliar with the EE your just stuck
Even Terminus and Liberty had some steps that are really dubiously explained. You're still honestly better off just watching a guide LOL the only reason that's slightly untrue is because of the fact that you can force it to stay on lower rounds. If it wasn't for that I'd be able to say that with 100% confidence.
Trust me, doing oil trap is WAY faster... At 15:16 you say that you dont want to do the oil traps cause it's hard to make sure you get the right kills with the right weapons.. The way i do it, i carry a gun i need Headshots on, and second weapon is the one i need special zombie kills. I just look at the minimap, and whenever i see one spawning and running towards me, i switch weapon, wait until it disapear in the minimap to make sure i got the special kill on that weapon, and switch back to headshot weapon. This way i end up going round 80+ doing that method.. takes 5 minutes to setup with a perkaholic gubble gum. the long part is getting to round 30+ .. at one point, you get like 6+ special zombie spawns per round, it's a lot faster!

I'll save you alot more time than this video. Just use the oil traps throw A molotov into the oil and stand on the ledge. Every kill is a critical kill. Use ether shroud to get to the next trap when it runs out easy easy. Also turn on rampage to make rounds quicker.
@brandonfreese3005 😂😂😂 way easier right. I got all my guns to afterlife in 1 day using the oil trap method. Only thing that the traps doesn't count is hipfires and brain rot kills.
Tip for manglers - go into the boss fight, kill the three manglers and then save and quit. You will reload in needing to do the last step of the easter egg, takes about a minute and then back into boss fight. You can do 30 in about 45 minutes per gun
So for Liberty you can play directed as normal until you get to the church. Make sure you grab the water valve. Once you get to the church and pack, kill groundskeeper to get the key and handbrake that takes you to round 11 cap. Go to the bowling alley and start the water valve. then just never finish it and you get faster spawns mixed with the normal zombies.
Next Bo6 update patch notes "Fixed a bug on Citadel where the soul box can be used to keep zombies spawning infinitely on round 12, now the soul box gets filled regardless of position on map." Or to put it in treyarch terms "fixed an issue on Citadel where the soul box doesn't get filled on round 12 in directed mode causing the easter egg not to progress as intended."
Im so glad I got my nebula Camo done on all 33 weapons I had to get the camo on. Now I can work on the remaining weapons and have no worries about waiting even longer and get headshots easier
The time between standard rounds is the same in both Regular and Directed Mode (from the time the last zombie is killed on one round to the time the next round starts and the first zombie spawns in). The time for that is 20 seconds. The change in Directed Mode is after the 5th consecutive round, that timer goes from 20 seconds to 35 seconds.
For liberty falls directed mode round 11. As soon as you kill a mangler you can save and quit and reload and you'll get another mangler soon as you load back in. Finish the round wait for the next mangler rinse and repeat. Sometimes when you load in you'll get a vermin round.
But it doesn't work for special kills right? Im currently doing opal and the doppelghasts that i killed with the oil trap while Holding my weapon didnt count.
Did you know that the oil trap + molotov counts as critical kills from the weapon you are holiding? mixing your method with this is probably much faster
Way to go guys. Nerf the one way to make an already insanely tedious and time consuming camo grind achievable in a timely manner for people who work 40+ hours a week. Such heroes.

It’s amusing how a company that's losing its player base due to cheaters and endless bugs in the game focuses on fixing the zombie mode just to prevent players from unlocking weapon camos faster than intended. They’re hoping this will make people spend more time in the game to unlock those camos. But the truth is, this is yet another poor decision by the company, pushing players to leave the game. Instead of dealing with cheaters, fixing critical bugs on time, or introducing variety to the weapons meta, they make life harder for the already small player base that still loves this project. Bravo
You can do this strategy by pairing it with the light sword glitch that locks “round progressing zombies” in the light tunnel. Then you never have to worry about the rounds getting crazy high if you’re working on Gold or Afterlife. You can do this on standard mode as well and, if done properly, can be done at round 10.
Lego you can freeze/cap the round on standard mode as well and the round never changes and you can get 2k headshots in 30mins a lot faster than this method
Treyarch has reverted the Directed mode chance on the "5 looped rounds delay", as well as the Shadow Rift augment nerf (going as far to even buff it) and are in the process of re-enabling the speedrun strats for Terminus. Their TL:DR of it was "reverted the changes from Jan. 3rd that affected FUN"

I have a feeling that they're gonna figure out how to nerf this. Either put a timer on before the step gets auto completed or stops, make it to where kills stop counting towards camos and challenges after a certain time, or just straight up disabling the ability to gain any kind of progress for camos, challenges, etc. While playing directed mode.
Video suggestion: light sword paired with frenzied guard with Retribution and extension augments and for melee macchiato use vampiric extraction and stick n move augments I think it fixes the light sword nerf everytime you use frenzied basically 15 second godmode
There is a better way. You go into the light tunnel room, as soon as you put your sword in, you spam shoot the pedestal, and youll see little strings of light going up. This will disable the timer. Next, shoot one wrong symbol in the air, then use a Kazmir to get out. From here, the round will never end, and no zombies will spawn besides from the ritual. Best part of this is, if you save and quit, it brings you back to when you first had the Kazmir grenade bought, and you can just do it all over again.
I don’t know if it’s just Ps5, but since they added CDM to directed mode…once you do the fire sword and ignite your self to carry the flames to the dragon statue…it creates an TON of visual bugs. Basically anything that is supposed to glow green, it simply doesn’t appear. Power ups, the orbs for the Elemental challenge, all that stuff. SOOOOO I would do a different sword than Caliburn to progress the rounds if you’re on Ps5.
Insane how people complain about things getting nerfed/patched, but these content creators can't help but put everything on blast for their 10 seconds of attention and content. Can't wait for this to be changed and fixed because there's 10 videos about it every day
Once you get everything setup it’s not bad. Even when you save and quit then go back to the save file, the most you’ll have to do is the incantation again to start the infinite spawn. Still worth it tho
I did just test this myself and it's pretty much like playing round 55 without the HP or damage fairly good just gotta shove through a sea of dead however.

use save and quit to even got a minimum of 12 doppelghasts per round
Wasn't working for me, the levels weren't dropping DG when I had the parasites spawning...

Honestly I wished I started my camo grind earlier. Now it’s going to take my whole life, and then some to complete the camo grind.

Directed mode actually helped me complete citadel for the first time solo. It allowed me to get some critical EE steps done.
Tbh the directed mode nerf isn't horrible if you second screen a tv show or watch a stream

If you get the claw and start the dark incantation ritual, you can have 2 infinite spawn points going at the same time. If you use the oil trap with molotovs, you can get crit kills, or just kills period for single shot weapons insanely fast too, including launchers & melee

you can..I’ve had 3 going but it was counterproductive with getting opal on a weapon at the same time. I was getting more headshots, but the round zombies were getting to jumbled within the ritual zombies, & by the time I found & killed them, the round was twice as long. It’s best to just do the rituals that are inside and leave outside for the round zombie spawns. The ritual ones will only come from the direction of the castle, but if you need to turn the round, you can run to the statue courtyard and the round zombies will spawn down there with you. I hope that makes sense

@@wheniask5403when you leave the castle, go down the steps, and go either left or right(there’s one on each side), and right before you go down the steps that take you to the bottom of the map, you’ll see a red switch that says “oil trap”…once you start it, stand on the steps side, throw a Molotov, and it will burn for the duration that the oil is falling. Each zombie kill will be a critical kill for whatever weapon you’re currently holding

Directed Mode for Citadelle is super buggy!!! It don't even tell you to grab the horseshoe and other artifacts for the light beam step so when you get there if your unfamiliar with the EE your just stuck
It also forces you to do the swords in a specific order.

Even Terminus and Liberty had some steps that are really dubiously explained. You're still honestly better off just watching a guide LOL the only reason that's slightly untrue is because of the fact that you can force it to stay on lower rounds. If it wasn't for that I'd be able to say that with 100% confidence.

Trust me, doing oil trap is WAY faster... At 15:16 you say that you dont want to do the oil traps cause it's hard to make sure you get the right kills with the right weapons..
The way i do it, i carry a gun i need Headshots on, and second weapon is the one i need special zombie kills. I just look at the minimap, and whenever i see one spawning and running towards me, i switch weapon, wait until it disapear in the minimap to make sure i got the special kill on that weapon, and switch back to headshot weapon.
This way i end up going round 80+ doing that method.. takes 5 minutes to setup with a perkaholic gubble gum. the long part is getting to round 30+ .. at one point, you get like 6+ special zombie spawns per round, it's a lot faster!
According to patch notes the spawn time only increases when your repeated the same round 5 times
Anyone cheesing camos on directed mode is doing WAY more than 5 repeats on round 11 or 15
@@mikemarion19I'm sure I went through at least 1000 rounds in directed grinding camos. If I did it after the update, I would have wasted an extra 4.16h of my life waiting between rounds.

I'll save you alot more time than this video. Just use the oil traps throw A molotov into the oil and stand on the ledge. Every kill is a critical kill. Use ether shroud to get to the next trap when it runs out easy easy. Also turn on rampage to make rounds quicker.

Tip for manglers - go into the boss fight, kill the three manglers and then save and quit. You will reload in needing to do the last step of the easter egg, takes about a minute and then back into boss fight. You can do 30 in about 45 minutes per gun

So for Liberty you can play directed as normal until you get to the church. Make sure you grab the water valve. Once you get to the church and pack, kill groundskeeper to get the key and handbrake that takes you to round 11 cap. Go to the bowling alley and start the water valve. then just never finish it and you get faster spawns mixed with the normal zombies.

Next Bo6 update patch notes "Fixed a bug on Citadel where the soul box can be used to keep zombies spawning infinitely on round 12, now the soul box gets filled regardless of position on map." Or to put it in treyarch terms "fixed an issue on Citadel where the soul box doesn't get filled on round 12 in directed mode causing the easter egg not to progress as intended."

The time between standard rounds is the same in both Regular and Directed Mode (from the time the last zombie is killed on one round to the time the next round starts and the first zombie spawns in). The time for that is 20 seconds. The change in Directed Mode is after the 5th consecutive round, that timer goes from 20 seconds to 35 seconds.
Nerfing anything in zombies is just a straight up bozo move
For liberty falls directed mode round 11. As soon as you kill a mangler you can save and quit and reload and you'll get another mangler soon as you load back in. Finish the round wait for the next mangler rinse and repeat. Sometimes when you load in you'll get a vermin round.
This is so unacceptable. Tell me you’re trying to kill your game without telling me you’re trying to kill your game.

Did you know that the oil trap + molotov counts as critical kills from the weapon you are holiding? mixing your method with this is probably much faster
Way to go guys. Nerf the one way to make an already insanely tedious and time consuming camo grind achievable in a timely manner for people who work 40+ hours a week. Such heroes.
So someone said that you could get all opal in 8 hours doing a sort of glitch and I'm like oh great so it'll take me about 10 days minimum to do the fastest glitch way..... great. And people had nebula on the 1st week of release.........

It’s amusing how a company that's losing its player base due to cheaters and endless bugs in the game focuses on fixing the zombie mode just to prevent players from unlocking weapon camos faster than intended. They’re hoping this will make people spend more time in the game to unlock those camos. But the truth is, this is yet another poor decision by the company, pushing players to leave the game. Instead of dealing with cheaters, fixing critical bugs on time, or introducing variety to the weapons meta, they make life harder for the already small player base that still loves this project. Bravo

You can do this strategy by pairing it with the light sword glitch that locks “round progressing zombies” in the light tunnel. Then you never have to worry about the rounds getting crazy high if you’re working on Gold or Afterlife. You can do this on standard mode as well and, if done properly, can be done at round 10.

Lego you can freeze/cap the round on standard mode as well and the round never changes and you can get 2k headshots in 30mins a lot faster than this method

Treyarch has reverted the Directed mode chance on the "5 looped rounds delay", as well as the Shadow Rift augment nerf (going as far to even buff it) and are in the process of re-enabling the speedrun strats for Terminus. Their TL:DR of it was "reverted the changes from Jan. 3rd that affected FUN"

I have a feeling that they're gonna figure out how to nerf this. Either put a timer on before the step gets auto completed or stops, make it to where kills stop counting towards camos and challenges after a certain time, or just straight up disabling the ability to gain any kind of progress for camos, challenges, etc. While playing directed mode.
They would never make kills not count because then there would be not point why would someone play just to get capped at round 15
I wouldn’t be surprised if they added in something where zombies don’t spawn for the soul box unless you’re near it or in the same room.
Video suggestion: light sword paired with frenzied guard with Retribution and extension augments and for melee macchiato use vampiric extraction and stick n move augments I think it fixes the light sword nerf everytime you use frenzied basically 15 second godmode
Use a combination of the parasite method and the directed mode to hold wave 10 forever.
There is a better way. You go into the light tunnel room, as soon as you put your sword in, you spam shoot the pedestal, and youll see little strings of light going up. This will disable the timer. Next, shoot one wrong symbol in the air, then use a Kazmir to get out. From here, the round will never end, and no zombies will spawn besides from the ritual. Best part of this is, if you save and quit, it brings you back to when you first had the Kazmir grenade bought, and you can just do it all over again.
The same thing happened with me when it was building the light sword.

To get manglers consistently while doing this, when the mangler spawns save and quit then reload the game and a mangler will spawn every round flip
You can use the raven claw to spawn more zombies to make it quicker too since the raven claw is very easy to get
Fun fact: you can activate the raven ritual as well and go to the joggernog room for even more spawns… happy grinding!

I don’t know if it’s just Ps5, but since they added CDM to directed mode…once you do the fire sword and ignite your self to carry the flames to the dragon statue…it creates an TON of visual bugs. Basically anything that is supposed to glow green, it simply doesn’t appear. Power ups, the orbs for the Elemental challenge, all that stuff. SOOOOO I would do a different sword than Caliburn to progress the rounds if you’re on Ps5.
Insane how people complain about things getting nerfed/patched, but these content creators can't help but put everything on blast for their 10 seconds of attention and content. Can't wait for this to be changed and fixed because there's 10 videos about it every day

Once you get everything setup it’s not bad. Even when you save and quit then go back to the save file, the most you’ll have to do is the incantation again to start the infinite spawn. Still worth it tho
Yo start the crow and lion to get double spawns if you want the slower guys too start dragon and lightning.
I did just test this myself and it's pretty much like playing round 55 without the HP or damage fairly good just gotta shove through a sea of dead however.
