Love the Cursed Scrolls. They add a lot to the setting and we literally used one this weekend for a quick and dirty adventure.
Excellent review of these zines. I agree, I do with there was a little more info on the monsters overall, but it isn't a make or break situation. I just ran my session 0 for my first ShadowDark campaign. We are using the Midnight Sun setting, and had a lot of fun making characters using the nordic flavors presented. My group mostly plays 5E, but the last few months we've been enjoying Call of Cthulhu. So I think the danger level of ShadowDark won't come as quite a shock. We'll see.
I am running online, but even so, the layout and clarity of the text in all the official ShadowDark products makes it very easy to use at the virtual table.
Keep up the great videos.
Thanks a bunch! Have a great time with your group!
Thanks Jeff! Nice job.
Would love to see some more 5e reviews or first looks from you again (understanding that WOTC can go kick rocks - with you on that).
Cheers!
I'm certainly not about to spend my limited funds on WotC product, I must say. ~ Jeff
Enjoyed the review.
Thanks Jeff.
Glad you enjoyed it
Definitely a 9 out of 10 for me as well
👍👍👍
Are the new classes balanced or is the witch a better spell caster than say the wizard
Is 'Red Sands' based at all on the 1980s TSR novel of the same name?
Not that I'm aware of. ~ Jeff
