Boy did we suffer yesterday Coventry fans had a wonderful party in Blackpool as we scored one for them and gave them 2 more to ensure this was the easiest win in their football watching LIVES. The 2nd half was shambolic, disappointing, depressing? (choose any or all of the 3 options you prefer)

A really sad video from a Blackpool fans perspective and quite hard to watch as a wellwisher. There is clearly a disconnect between supporters and the club. The messages you have heard from people working in the club lack ambition and are not compatible with the vision the club project. Find it concerning the messages seem to suggest they are already performing the best they can, which clearly needs addressing as it implies they already think they have reached the limit of their ability to even try to do better. Disconnect needs to be repaired club are beginning to lose their supporters which will be very hard to repair long term and by the sound of it not possible with the current staff.
I am sorry but Sooty and his fellow puppets are far too busy helping the country to be world leading in areas we, as humble citizens, could only dream of via their underpaid salaries within parliament.

You can't judge it in isolation this season has been draining to say the least. Just because it's banter doesn't mean we have to enjoy it when we are 2nd bottom and going down. I'm sure you'd be dancing with glee obvs if the roles were reversed 🤣😂

Im a coventry fan and away fans have stuck the boot in about us being homeless various times and we have also been relegated a fair few time recently. It isnt nice to be fair but Blackpool will bounce back. Coventry deserve some good times after the shit our previous owners put us through

Cov fan here was there yesterday, want to thank you lot you always bring numbers and are amazing fans, we have been down and under its a shit feeling and we played our first 6 games away from home, we still don't no if we have a stadium next season but right now we are doing well first time in a long time I believe we can push for play offs as for Blackpool I don't think you are the worse team in the league I think you will stay up if you win the next 2 I truly believe you will stay up and I hope you do not just for a day out ect cause your fans are brilliant and we always have good banter with you lot. Coventry fan here who was at the game yesterday. Great atmosphere and was impressed with the improvement of atmosphere from last season when we played you on a Tuesday evening.
That 2nd challenger was a 100% a pen but I still think we run 3/4 goals past you the defence just isn’t there.
Every fan base will be singing going down to you for the last few weeks of the season sorry😂
It would have also been a red card so I'm not sure with 10 and a goal down you would but it's all ifs buts and maybes at the end of the day the score will always be Blackpool 1-4 Coventry City. Best of luck for the season

Lee, you complain about your start, try playing your first 6 games away from home because of pitch issues, bottom of the league after 6 games, now that's a bad start. Also all teams lose players, we played todays game without midfielders Kasey Plamer, Calum O'Hare & Jamie Allen all first team regulars. There was a period not so long back when we only had one fit striker available, mind you he goes by the name of Gyökeres. Having said that I think you'll find a lot of Sky Blue fans have a soft spot for Blackpool, probably because of them playing in...... well Blackpool. So for the rest of the season we're all Seasiders. Good luck. Great passionate videos btw.

Yep but hey its been a thing all season, the small decisions we can take them as good as any one else but it's the big decisions, the sendings off we have had for nothing, penalties against, penalties not given, offside goals allowed the list is endless they say it evens out over a season nah it doesn't. But I'm sick of blaming referees tbh best of luck to Coventry you've suffered just as much as us so enjoy the win.
Coventry fan here, Gyokeres could have been sent off but so should your lad for punching him first. Also immediately leading up to Godden's goal, Hamer was elbowed in the face by your CB. As for "Getting battered everywhere you go" that is banter and we've had it all this season, especially against Wrexham in the cup and Norwich in the league. Sincerely hope you stay up. We needed those points as badly as Blackpool did. All the best.
The ref was literally right on it, he was getting a card out of his back pocket the moment it happened if there was a punch before it he would have seen it and we have the most red cards in a season I have ever seen just one more for the record so we would have been off if he had.
Technically you didn't need them quite as much as we are in the bottom 3 and that has cut us adrift even further but best of luck for the season. Apparently its the 'first bit of luck' from a ref you've had all season so enjoy the moment

I fear its going to get worse before it does. Fingers crossed we find a consistent winning formula soon but there's only 8 games (Cup finals) to go. I'm glad it told the story in the way we wanted it to we have been working toward being match footage free for a while now and this was an experiment to see if our vlogs hold up without it so we can take this further and in more fun way. The footage so often ruins what we put together so it's quite liberating 😁
Fingers x for you pool fans was impressed with noise from your fans in first half but dropped your heads as game went on,, and yes us Coventry are a very vocal support as a 12th man !!!

I have to pick up with a couple of comments. You both had a dig at our fans singing 'your going down, and getting battered everywhere you go. It's called football banter. Some of our fans supported the march against your owners a few years back. And you repaid us by singing at Birmingham 'you got no ground' again banter. I know he hurts we have been there many times.

Hi Gaz we said we agreed with you. However just because it's banter doesn't mean its right and we are suffering. This video is the 1st time we have decided not to include match footage (because quite frankly editing it is getting me down) and this is raw and in the moment how we are feeling. I was there Saturday as a cov fan. Really enjoyed Blackpool. You definitely deserved the second penalty. More so then the first. I think the ref flapped it because he had only just gave you one. It’s really difficult not to like Blackpool, a superb set of fans (by far the loudest we’ve had a the CBS) who have been through it over the last few years (similar to ourselves).
We got away with one for the second penalty shout, it’s a stonewall every day of the week so how the refs not given it and our man not given a red is anyone’s guess.
I’m made up with the win but really hope you lot stay up this season. Great club with great fans so fingers crossed you guys manage it.

Blackpool are in a relegation scrap but as we know football is full of twists and turns, and you could go on a decent run.
Our away support is awesome very loud and behind the team non stop, as are Blackpool too.

Shock you've not mentioned the Blackpool defender throwing an elbow into Hamer's face just before Cov's 4th Goal... also the reason Mcfazdean wasn't sent off was because the striker cut inside and we had a covering defender on the way so he wasn't stopping a clear goalscoring opportunity. You could also argue the foul was just outside the box. None of this matters anyway as Blackpool can't defend and their GK flaps at every ball into the box :)
Funny how you don't mention the definite penalty on Jerry Yates which would have been a certain red that would have put us 2-1 up against 10 men it should have all been a different story but yeah it doesn't matter now it can't be changed enjoy your win and best of luck for the season

We always get injuries but this season has been truly unbelievable and still it goes on Madine cruciate career ending at Bristol and one of our last 2 centre halves yesterday in the space of a week. When your 2nd off bottom it becomes even more of a problem

Enjoyed the video. It helps to know other people are disappointed. We should have made changes as soon as the third goal went in. We weren't playing up to Tuesday's standard. Bowler should have come on then. At least Cardiff's game was abandoned. I think Sooty should come on one of your vlogs as a guest. Not sure about his management potential.
What's Sooty like in midfield?
Sooty hasn't got any feet so that might limit his midfield effectiveness. And the ref might take a dim view of him attacking opponents with his wand and waterpistol.

First visited Pool in August 1969 when Tony Hateley made his B’ham debut, we lost 0-2 but still had a great day out & many memorable games at Bloomfield Road since then 👍

I don’t understand how you complain about injuries and then about international breaks . We’re are also ridiculed with injuries and so the international break is a perfect chance for our players to come back from injury and recover

Hi Lee, yeah back down to earth with a bump unfortunately. Just when we thought we’d turned a corner, I guess QPR really were terrible on the Tuesday night, tbh that injury to thorniley really did kill us. Why oh why he brought Dougall on who is just terrible at championship level, I’d have pushed husband into centre back and brought Thompson on at left back and kept the midfield 3 the same but there ya go.
Other than that they just out classed us all over the pitch and we’re miles the better team, first half we did ok but you’ve got to just see that through until half time and not concede such a sloppy goal. If we go in level then the atmosphere probably stays on our side second half and the players have more to go at and who knows maybe it’s a different game but to be honest I think heads dropped after their second goal and they were allowed to just walk all over us, their 3rd and 4th goals were coming a mile off sadly
Yes Thorniley was a blow but if the ref had have awarded the penalty on Jerry Yates and given the red card which even the EFL show agree on then we could have been looking at 2-1 against 10 men and that's a different story.
I agree the 2nd goal on the stroke of halftime killed our fight and we never recovered. Such a shame after Tuesday. We still have a steak of a chance but its not looking good
@@LeeCharlesTV no it’s not looking good at all really, yeah the officials letting us down is nothing new sadly, seems to happen week in week out, we never get wrong decisions go our way do we? Still though we have to better defensively for a couple of those goals, I just don’t know what McCarthy was thinking bringing dougall on when the likes of Keshi, Bowler and Poveda were all on the bench. Thompson as well like I said should’ve come on at left back and hubby shift over to the middle but there ya go. Bringing josh and Poveda on as well 4-1 down is just laughable and almost an insult really

Why are all the goals not shown ?
It's been something we have been working toward as tbh the football footage ruins all the hard work we put into these vlogs most of the time😡 it also gets me down editing it all especially as it takes hours to do and I end up finishing these at 6am!
This is the first and we are experimenting I found it quite liberating as we are trying to show the reality of being a football fan and telling the behind the scenes story which filming the game prevents me capturing, we want to be on screen to tell you how we are feeling so its more about the story of supporting your local team and not following United of whatever? and we want people to come along with us and watch this story not watch it for match footage that you can see anyway. What we like to show you is the fan reactions, the drama in the crowd and to be able to really make these about the fans I have to free myself from filming match footage to do that.
We know it won't be for everybody but our goal is to make them entertaining without the match footage so we get subscribers that watch them win or lose and we can take it on the road more as we have to do every ground to complete the Football Tourist Guide

Absolutely shocking KENNY DOUGALL just wow what has gone wrong with the lad!? "Never gives the ball away" try always gives the ball away! Was such a hard game to watch! Passion had gone again!!! No heart no determination!! Have to say the Coventry fans were great... or were they as when we equalised they didn't sing one song... but they were very good 👏 massively hacked off, losing faith rapidly! I DO NOT WANT TO HAVE TO WATCH LEAGUE 1 FOOTBALL EVERY WEEK NEXT SEASON

Normally Jerry is one of the only lads who gives his all every match, even he looked off it yesterday :/

We had a stone wall penalty which was also a red card because he took Jerry Yates out just as he was about to pop it into the net. We should have been 2-1 up against 10 men and if we had we would have WON simple as. We lost our best centre half after 20 minutes as well (it is actually now becoming laughable) I can't blame MM for any of that sorry

I wasn't having a go at you and yes the own goal on halftime killed us but it was a penalty and a red card that would never have happened if we had a decent ref. Time and time again the referees shaft us and I blame thar loss on him for not giving the correct decision and costing us the game.
It's hard to take and honestly I can't see us staying up because I can't believe refs will ever give us anything it's very clear they won't.

I am struggling to keep positive and we just seem to be doomed to relegation and the referees shaft us week in week out. We don't take our chances which compounds the impact of the referee (if you're winning 3-0, 4-0 every week the ref doesn't matter quite as much) it's hard to take and my responses probably reflect that I've become pretty much 'doom and gloom' but it's okay you certainly are not making things worse I very much appreciate the fact you actually put yourself through the agony I have more or less said you have to be crazy to suffer along with us! 😱🙏
you mentioned the penalty calls and cards not given....and i'll be brutally honest with the cards,when blackpool players are constantly waving imaginary cards in front of the refs face its going to effect his decision,you get some and you dont get some..as for the fouls,if you go back to the world cup england had one yellow,argentina had god knows how many,they won it,they would run over their grandmother to get a result..that being said i hope blackpool stay up because in recent years they've gone through similar to us with the oystons..just let us have our hopes and dreams
You need to have suffered with ridiculous refereeing decisions over and over and over, quite often big huge game changing decisions constantly going against you. Your team need to be going for the record of red cards 11 so far and most of them for far less than Saturday to understand. You would need to be in their shoes battling to stay up with ref after ref giving you nothing to understand the frustration in the players, the crowd, the managers, the board...
I get what your saying but the injustice is just too much and it's not me seeing it through tangerine specs, Cov fans and the TV pundits all agree it was a sending off for the punch, it was a pen and a sending off on Jerry Yates as he was about to tap in. It's no wonder they've had enough it stinks and it's a huge factor in why we are 2nd bottom

Sorry ,but if we had won that game there would be no blaming of the board ,the management , the players . This season we have matched and even bettered some teams , but we have also been poor in most . Today could have been the second convincing win on the trot and put us within a couple of points from safety while being on a high . So the only person I can blame for your second rant is a referee who failed to send a player off after an assault. Who failed to send a player off when fouling a player through on goal and stopping a goal scoring chance yet saw enough to give a penalty . Then shortly afterwards doesn't see another blatant penalty and goal scoring chance which would have given us a 2-1 lead against 8 players . So I think you were wrong to blame everything Blackpool and should have pointed out who the real culprit was in this game.
Hi Peter yes the referee cost us but we bang on about referees week in and week out I'm getting tired of blaming them for everything. Truth is we scored an OG on half time and gave them 2 goals with shocking defending, its been a shite season and we are as down as every other Blackpool fan and the summer transfer window and the preseason set us up for this horrendous season. And it's all ifs buts and maybes the truth is we Lost 1-4 in a game we simply had to win 🙁
