An era when soft voices of kumar sanu, sonu nigam, abhijeet and udit narayan were considered apt for soft faces, vinod ji’s versatile voice fit well on heroes of all generation including the senior ones like jaggu dada, sanju baba who were sharing screen space with younger ones like aamir and shahrukh in 90s and early 2000. How can one forget “chupana bhi nahi aata, jatana bhi nahi aata” from Baazigar. And the epic “Junoon” serial title song. 🙂 Long live Vinod Rathod sir. Its a shame we don’t get to hear your voice any more. Could be petty politics otherwise your powerful voice is still unmatched in the music industry.
