    I have the AF75 in Blue/Black finish, and it is one of the finest guitars I have ever played. My wife told me she would buy me one guitar that I thought would be right for the styles of music that I play. I played Gibsons, Fenders, and everything in between. We walked in to a store in Baltimore and the AF75 was on a very high display. I asked to play that one and they got it down for me. It was in tune, so we plugged in and fell instantly in love with it. She asked if I was sure, and I said yes. I hadn't looked at the price but she had, and she said "I'm getting off easy!!" All I know is that I've counted it as my favorite guitar for nearly 20 years now, and it gets sweeter with age. A bargain, but a perfect tone and feel. I Love it. Chip

    I've had mine for well over a decade and it's my go-to "everyday" guitar. Love the build quality and tone.

    I use to own a guitar like that I got it in 2008 but unfortunately I didn’t take good care of it.. it’s a beauty and the sound is amazing.. I ended up pawning in 2018 I regret it.. it wasn’t in the best shape.. this one feels better than all the new ones

    I had one of these, Nicely built, plays and sounds good. Two things I don't like about it though, is the 3 way switch is in an awkward place under the vibrato arm and I don't like the pin strap on the back of the guitar. Just my opinion.

    I have mine as my go to guitar, I’m very content with it. I prefer playing gigs with them. I at some point got one for a bargain at a 2nd hand place and that one is my backup guitar now. I sometimes upgrade them once in awhile.

    Hello Alex, I am writing to you from Buenos Aires, Argentina and I use Google English translator to write to you. I was looking at your excellent report on the Ibanez guitar and the nice music recording with the AF75TDG. He recently acquired a used one in very good condition, but I would like to ask you a couple of questions if you can help me.
    1) I cannot find the model on the official website since it seems to be discontinued, in all the sites I have visited it indicates 20 frets but in reality it has 22.
    2) I'm also not sure if it comes from the factory with 0.10 - 0.52 or 010- 0.46 stringing and whether they are smooth or wound.
    3) Lastly, do Gretsch 6120 guitars have the same scale in comparison?
    All the best Osvaldo

    Should I get this or the AS73? This will be my first electric guitar and I am a beginner. Both are the same price at GC

    • @ratwynd
      @ratwynd 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Have an AS73 and love it. So much so I wanted the larger body with a more 'woody' sound so have an AF75 on order. This is not really a loud rocker or metal guitar. The AS 73 will have far more feedback resistance at volume and allow maybe wider range of styles and higher volumes. Just my 2 cents.

    Hi there, I have a question: If I played this guitar at night with an earphone amplifier, would the neighbors upstairs hear the dry sounds of the strings? I would say we have normal izolation in the building, I don't hear them when they talk to each other or so.

    • @consordini6258
      @consordini6258  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No, definitely not. It's a hollowbody but not at all loud acoustically, much quieter than an acoustic guitar, especially if you're playing with good technique.

    Love mine BUT very sadly I have had a disappointing experience that I'd like to share. I properly clean, humidify, and store my Ibanez after each use. I put it away for about a year, and the other day I took it out of the case to show a friend, only to find the gold colored parts, which at one time were the standout 'shining' feature of my guitar, is dull and has the appearance of corrosion like patterns on it. WOW! Am I ever disappointed. Do you know of a way to restore the beautiful shine it once had? I tried polishing it and no improvement noted. Is there a place to send it to have these parts re-dipped? Any information would help. I have a collection of guitars and this one was so special I seldom took it out of the case. It's not any more. Thanks for your help, in advance!
