I am a christian who is self taught I don't trust any church because I can't be sure if they are teaching the truth as in the bible so all I have is my hope that God is helping guide me to understand but to be on the safe side I've just bought a Quran to read too

I think it's important to always tell reverts that all their sins are erased and forgiven after taking shahadah. Maybe for this young brother it's not the most important thing to know but especially people that are older should be reassured that they have now a clean slate and are as sinless as a new born baby and they now just have to try their best to keep it up and that Allah always forgives as long as you ask for forgiveness sincerely. I was 19 when I became Muslim and one of my biggest motivation going forward in life as a better person was knowing that I have a new beginning without sins.

As a real Christian I never hated on muslims always had love for anyone that worships the only God. I just envy because this type of brotherhood faded away in christianity or is very hard to find.

This is the reason i like western life style in a way that they can do anyrhing. Look at this kid, so young and taking his decesions. i converted to islam from Judaism, it's truly the only way to the creator, its soo clear, even with my past research, know that prophet Mohammad in the oldest scriptures known to man , his name is there, and he was prophesied, many, many times, but my anncesestors did the most wicked thing ever by trying to rewrite the bible and the Torah, i pray to allah to guide my Israelites brother's to get back to allah, even in the hidden history or lost history, we know 70% of the biblical Israelites converted to islam during the rise of islam, thanks to allah. I have researched all 3 Abrahamic Religions and found Islam to be the True Religion of God. As for Judaism it is all about the Chosen People and is almost racist as you cannot be a Jew unless you are descended from one of the Twelve Children of Israel. Judaism fails to satisfy the essential criteria of a religion by requiring external obedience to moral laws, having a secular focus, and lacking a concern for immortality. Furthermore Judaism also lacks a belief in an afterlife which is actually necessary for human ethical behavior in this life. And as for Christianity it is an almost idolatrous religion as they lack the principle of the One, True God with no partners. Christians had to follow One God, but they have made God multiple, not singular. And not to mention many of the internal consistencies and errors contained within the Bible. Many Christians try to combat this problem by selectively interpreting each verse according to the context of the verse, but critics argue that the selective invocation of portions of the Old Testament is hypocritical, particularly when those portions endorse hostility towards women and homosexuals, when other portions are considered obsolete. There are also hundreds of versions of the Bible, whereas only one version of the Quran. This is the one of the many reasons why I chose to reject Christianity. And the reason why I chose Islam is because in the Old Testament it is mentioned: "God said to Moses, on whom be peace: “I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers; I will put my words in his mouth, and he will tell them everything I command him.” (The Holy Bible, New International Version, Deuteronomy chapter 18, verse 18). The prophet described in the above verse must have the following three characteristics: 1. He will be like Moses. 2. He will come from the brothers of the Israelites, i.e. the Ishmaelites(Muhammad SAW was an Arab). 3. God will put His words in the mouth of that prophet and he will declare what God commanded him. CONCLUSION: Muhammad was the Chosen One
I reverted two weeks ago and I have already and am still facing hurdles and challenges. But I have had more peace of mind within these two weeks than in 38 years of Christianity which clearly didn't work out for me. Subhanallah..i question my lack of ability to salah In Arabic and feel at times my prayers are empty and non valid due to this..i feel quite alone to be honest as people around me don't get why I reverted etc..but I still have faith that Allah swt will guide me. I feel a bit torn at this moment in time but my decision was the best I've ever made...ALLAHU AKHBAR
May Allah guide you and help you brother... keep intouch with the ulama/ustadz in masjid, ask them to teach everything you need to know... Barakallahu fiik...

This is the reason i like western life style in a way that they can do anyrhing. Look at this kid, so young and taking his decesions.
I cant imagine this happening in south asian countries like pakistan where a kid of his age cant take decesions, if u preach to a SHIA or AHAMADI they wont listen to u coz they know they all dont have power to take their own decesions and to come towards truth.

i converted to islam from Judaism, it's truly the only way to the creator, its soo clear, even with my past research, know that prophet Mohammad in the oldest scriptures known to man , his name is there, and he was prophesied, many, many times, but my anncesestors did the most wicked thing ever by trying to rewrite the bible and the Torah, i pray to allah to guide my Israelites brother's to get back to allah, even in the hidden history or lost history, we know 70% of the biblical Israelites converted to islam during the rise of islam, thanks to allah.
I have researched all 3 Abrahamic Religions and found Islam to be the True Religion of God. As for Judaism it is all about the Chosen People and is almost racist as you cannot be a Jew unless you are descended from one of the Twelve Children of Israel. Judaism fails to satisfy the essential criteria of a religion by requiring external obedience to moral laws, having a secular focus, and lacking a concern for immortality.
Furthermore Judaism also lacks a belief in an afterlife which is actually necessary for human ethical behavior in this life.
And as for Christianity it is an almost idolatrous religion as they lack the principle of the One, True God with no partners. Christians had to follow One God, but they have made God multiple, not singular. And not to mention many of the internal consistencies and errors contained within the Bible. Many Christians try to combat this problem by selectively interpreting each verse according to the context of the verse, but critics argue that the selective invocation of portions of the Old Testament is hypocritical, particularly when those portions endorse hostility towards women and homosexuals, when other portions are considered obsolete. There are also hundreds of versions of the Bible, whereas only one version of the Quran.
This is the one of the many reasons why I chose to reject Christianity. And the reason why I chose Islam is because in the Old Testament it is mentioned: "God said to Moses, on whom be peace: “I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers; I will put my words in his mouth, and he will tell them everything I command him.” (The Holy Bible, New International Version, Deuteronomy chapter 18, verse 18). The prophet described in the above verse must have the following three characteristics: 1. He will be like Moses. 2. He will come from the brothers of the Israelites, i.e. the Ishmaelites(Muhammad SAW was an Arab). 3. God will put His words in the mouth of that prophet and he will declare what God commanded him.
CONCLUSION: Muhammad was the Chosen One

I reverted two weeks ago and I have already and am still facing hurdles and challenges.
But I have had more peace of mind within these two weeks than in 38 years of Christianity which clearly didn't work out for me.
Subhanallah..i question my lack of ability to salah In Arabic and feel at times my prayers are empty and non valid due to this..i feel quite alone to be honest as people around me don't get why I reverted etc..but I still have faith that Allah swt will guide me.
I feel a bit torn at this moment in time but my decision was the best I've ever made...ALLAHU AKHBAR
May Allah guide you and help you brother... keep intouch with the ulama/ustadz in masjid, ask them to teach everything you need to know... Barakallahu fiik...
Brother, know with every hurdle comes with immense blessings, don’t ever see your prayers invalid due to your struggles but rather a source of more reward because of it. I pray Allah keeps your firm on the straight path. So happy you’ve found peace. Salaam.
May Allah bless you brother. Prophet Mohammad PBUH said that any hardship a believer faces no matter how small even if a thorn hurts him, he will be granted Ajer (reward). Patience is mentioned many time in the Quran and those who are patient are rewarded in the Jannah. We your brothers pray for you and ask Allah to aid you. Remember the first Muslims in Makkah they were persecuted, tortured and killed but still held to Islam. I wish to see you in Jannah.
