We've yet to stay at any Universal resort, but always hear wonderful things, especially for the value. The lobby and the entire resort is definitely huge! The 2 bedroom suite looks very comfortable. Greg looked extremely comfortable on the bed!😂 The pool looks wonderful. That's always a plus for us. 👍 I'm surprised there isn't a mobile check in. Especially for how busy it gets. The transportation is definitely a plus, too. When we stayed at All Star resorts at Disney when the kids were little, those buses were very handy. Another excellent tour and review! And we always appreciate all the details. You've confirmed all the great things we've heard about Universal Resorts and this is actually the first time seeing all the details as well. Cool video! We've never stayed at a Universal resort. Usually we stay at a Wyndham timeshare or a Disney resort. Not bad for a budget resort, especially considering that most people staying there will spend much of their day at the parks.
Loved the tour! Dockside is a great bang for the buck. I agree it is a super busy resort. When we stayed my only complaint was I felt it was a noisy resort; however it seem to be the neighboring rooms with louder guests. I also agree the quick service is very efficient. We enjoyed the breakfast and there was plenty of seating. Thank you for showing us the tour of your suite. 👍🏻👍🏻

We love staying on Universal for a night or two in the resorts that give you the front of line access. But Endless Summer looks like a great option if you want good value and are not so much bother about front of line, especially if you are travelling out of the busy seasons. Their quickserve food options look awesome. Refillabel cups at the Universal resorts is a new thing since we last stayed. Although we would never stay there log enough to benefit. Your room was really cute and quite spacious.

Love that beachy vibe with the sand by the pool. 🌞🏖 Who needs a beach vacation when you’ve got sand right by the pool at Dockside! It’s awesome that Dockside offers such efficient bus transportation, especially for families trying to maximize their park time! Great tip about getting coffee at the Pier 8 Market if Starbucks is too busy. It's little details like that that make vacation smoother! Thank you for such an honest and detailed review. The room size and price really do make this a great option for families. 💙

We are thinking of trying one of these resorts next time we visit. The Dockside looks so nice, the theming is so well done. Love the Starbucks and the Universal store, I can't resist either. I didn't know Universal hotels had any refillable mugs. The rooms look so cute and have everything we would need. I do hate waiting so long for check in but the price helps, but we don't have a bigger party so maybe somewhere else would be better. Great review!

Oh Universal! That is my favorite theme park. But we have never stayed onsite. We are budget type of family so this totally something we might do next time we go. This place has everything you need and I would totally get that drink cup. This room is so cute. Our little one would love the pool and arcade. Ok, you convinced me. Will have to check this out.

It does seem humongous! With that many rooms and with rooms that fit six, I can see why it would be crowded. A lot of great information on the resort. I've heard _mostly_ good things about the Endless summer resorts, especially with regard to cost/value. Love that there are so many onsite amenities, and the pools look great and exceptionally spacious! Not surprised to hear that check-in and crowd levels were your primary drawbacks; we had similar experiences with Cabana Bay just down the road. The lower the cost, the larger the demand! What was your take on the thinner walls? That's another con that we've been hearing about from a number of Orlando-area locals that have stayed onsite. Overall, though, it seems like a great resort and a great option for a budget stay closer to the parks! Thanks for sharing, you guys! ✨
The cost is definitely in demand and I get it!! We personally had no issues with the thinner walls and we were shocked. I think we clearly lucked out because the overall resort was a zoo lol. We were expecting to have a lot of noise coming from the halls and other rooms but for us it didn’t happen but I can one million percent see how it would staying at this resort lol!
