The Papaya Story

This Papaya plant will become a young bush this year and then go on to mature into a tree after three years. Then it will bear papaya fruit. The ripe papaya is very sweet and pulpy fruit. It is a must in your garden and is easily available from growers or you can buy the fruit from the market and if it has seeds in it because some freak GM papaya plants do not bear fruit that have seeds in them. So, if you can throw the seeds in the soil after eating the papaya and cover them up from birds, then in a week or two if you are lucky you can have a whole mini-forest of papayas growing in that place where you threw the papaya seeds. Yes, it happened with me and be sure to find out if they have grown to the sky above like the seeds that Jack threw in his little garden.
